Depending on your settings you may see Center instead of High and Low at the 6 minute mark, in that very same effects window click on the "Val. Readout" button at the bottom right (of just the effects window!) until it says "High/Low" on the bottom line.

Thanks for creating this video, I feel as there is closure in the sense that the viewer has just enough to go on and created some good looking shows.

I love using position presets as "borders" for an effect. Much better than dealing with percentages and numbers.... I have one question (not effect related necessarily) -- If I wanted a position movement to go from Cue 1 to Cue 2, and taper the speed down as it ends along the fade time, how would I go about that? (i don't want to work with speed controller, but built into the cue stack....)

    Hey Alex
What type of LED PARS are you using?
Whenever I use LED PARS in MA3D I don't get them looking as nice...
    It looks rather flat actually...
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
    Cheers 🍻

      Hello Bente,
I am using the default generic RGB profile but I may have turned it into a led par off screen. To do that select your LEDs in MA3d right click and click change model and select fixtures, LED and select a different model for your LEDs.
      Hope that helps

Have a look at the fade or delay encoder options

Can I use my color palette that references all my fixtures as the reference in a color step effect and it will still be a selective effect? Or will that make the effect global so I have to recreate the color palette?

    • @ConsoleTraining

It has to be a selective effect to allow you to use presets but as long as you are careful you can make it work on all fixtures but putting every fixture in the selective effect

How do I make effects or even just cues where the dimming of a group of lights are offset from each other? Not sure if you know what I mean..I know how to do in other consoles but not sure how to do it in MA.

+LehmanVideos have a look at wings on effects or the delay layer for sequences

Console Training so would I have to delay every single fixture for sequences. Let's say I want 5 fixtures to fan out into the sky from left to right. Would I have to go into each fixture and delay them by let's say half a second or whatever in order to get that effect? I hoped there would be another way to do this, especially since I'm not trying to do a chase or anything but just do a one time thing in a show. I know in jands with the timeline view I can slightly delay and block the dimming and position by 1-2 clicks. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
