Dave the little series carb you want to change has an almost amazing ability to let fuel through it. I reckoned the V8 on carbs was no thirstier than a straight four or six petrol series.
You are quite correct about the desirability of the series esp the short wheel base soft top. Weapon of choice for my North Norfolk second home neighbours.

1st - Love the Series 3 rebuild, just shows who old cars can resurrect old memories instantly, and your attention to the details that will make so much better than original should be applauded - another super episode from Team Mahker (+ Chris and Ben), if a little short…any chance you could do some kind of time lapse build from tear down to finished article, or do the vehicles get moved around to much? Anyway, see you soon ❤Mahker
It would be good but we (Ben / Chris) only film on site one day a week so we’re not always around to catch every bit. We try and co-ordinate with Dave to be there when builds complete so you see the finished article
