I'm glad you did this. Most UA-camrs that visit Boston go to the North End. Not that there is anything wrong with the North End or Italian food, but as a Boston native, Chinatown is one of my favorite place to go for food. Especially the bakeries.
Awesome video! I really miss Boston's Chinatown and one of my fav spots when I was there was a restaurant named New Dong Khan, where I used to get a delicious avocado shake :)
Hello I had had shown May Cake House to my friend. We were hanging out here for an hour also. Been to My Thai Vegan Cafe with friends. Please tried the Dragon's Eye fruit at the push carts or the supermarkets. Don't forget Eldo Cake House and the ridiculous butter rolls. I was hilarious when my friends.
Thank You for the recommendations. I go to Chinatown all the time, but hardly sit and eat at some of restaurants that you showed. Especially Hong Kong Eatery, grab my roasted poultry and out.
Great video of Chinatown, Boston! May's Cake House looks perfect for kids. Also, I've been looking for a place like Juicy Spot Cafe, but it's permanently closed.
Great video. Thinking of visiting in a couple weeks. I'm looking for a more quiet restaurant in Chinatown for a small family to just relax after a long day of sightseeing. Hopefully with a decent clean bathroom too. For reference, we're Chinese Americans from NYC and we are cool with all cuisines. Can you take the time to help us out?
Bruh I watched this video and got hungry af and I went to freakin uhhh Ding Ho fast food that place was really good tho it sucked that I had to go to an ATM to get cash out cause shit's windy in Boston but it was worth the 3 dollar bowl of Lo Mein and chicken with curry sauce and potatoes I got. Probably gonna go to Chinatown for more than just boba tea and food at the occasional somewhat pricey restaurant now, thanks!
I'm so sad that Saigon Sandwich is no more. The arc of the real estate in the neighborhood combined with the lockdowns were tough for the little independent places.
Carry cash. A lot of places seem to want cash these days. I am visiting Boston tomorrow for my first time and will go to China town. I will let you know.
Anyone who attended college in Boston circa 1980 to 2000 will automatically know what I’m talking about ….Moi snd Shu…. Golden Gate restaurant…. B an R mushroom and onion…. Probably the single greatest dish ever created …. Since the closing of the Golden Gate I have spent the better part of the last 20 years trying to obtain the recipe…. But alas I’m afraid it’s gone forever
Just visited the China Town. Actually I lived Haytt hotel around the corner. Being a native Chinese, I would say that all these restaurants would not survive one day anywhere inside Chinese mainland. No good. I think the reason is that US immigration authorities do not allow H1B visa for real Chinese Chef. The 'chef' in China Town are all self-taught.
Hi would love to reach out to you to potentially make videos for my company MassRealty in the Boston area! If you can reach out with your email I would love to connect
She shows more asian-centric, weight-conscious dishes, not what "typical americans" want to eat, like meat things. Looks like she chose more vegetarian and/or tofu stuff. To be a more-viewed video, should definitely show other dishes (with meat)...or show vegetarian AND meat-lovers dishes. Seems more one-sided towards vegetarianism.
Boston Chinatown is just absolutely suck it can never compare to San Francisco Chinatown….San Francisco Chinatown is bigger and better than Boston Chinatown 😃

Greetings from Jakarta
I hope you keep making videos! Just moved to Boston and I am excited to visit some of the places you showed
Great video! Thanks so much for making it. Went to Chinatown yesterday and hit Hong Kong Eatery and Tea Do based on your suggestion. They were great!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello Jim
You should go to Quincy MA also, there are a lot of great Chinese restaurants and a big Asian population
The food in Boston was always great and so affordable. I didn’t touch any chain food for the few years I lived there and there is so much variety!
RIP to New Saigon, it was also one of my faves. I would go there with my coworker like twice a week if not more.
Ding Ho Fast Food.........good old timer.......delicious and cheap food.
We need to go to sweet waffles! Your vibe is so cool
Gourmet dumpling house is my favorite. Been there everytime I'm in Chinatown.
I used to go to May’s Cake House every time I visited my grandparents. Thanks for the nostalgia.
What a great video! Going to Boston to eat and gonna hit many of these suggestions!
Very nice video, thanks for all the suggestions. I'll be visiting in May 2020, I'm gonna load my belly with all this asian food.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy your visit :)

Hello

My family personally likes Kaze Shabu Shabu! Make sure to ask to sit upstairs if you go. It has a very clean bathroom.
I really appreciate your video and your sentiment regarding preserving Chinatown! How are things currently after covid? Thanks!

Do you know the best Chinese rest in .Boston. Thanks
What does parking look like for these places? Is there a garage near Chinatown? Thank you.
I've lived in/near Boston for most of my life, I've never had a bad meal in Chinatown.
I'm so sad that Saigon Sandwich is no more. The arc of the real estate in the neighborhood combined with the lockdowns were tough for the little independent places.
Gourmet Dumpling house also RIP.
not much left of beantown's Chinatown
I'm looking for a wholesale cash and carry in Chinatown that sells dry goods, deserts , teas, gourmet grocery items. Is there anything there?
Are these stores all cash only? Yum, I'm visiting Boston soon, can't wait to try them out

Boston chinatown is more intimate than NYC. Much better, both good food and people.
I’m Taiwanese and I’m allergic to sesame 😅
nice lady!
Hello Yuko
Same as NYC !!! You need a makeover !! Just saYING !!
Michele Wu will help Chinatown stay alive.
hold on

Can you be my tour guy
Pornagio. It's Italian
beats smack
Ehhhhh I HIGHLY don't recommend Boston Chinatown for authentic Chinese cuisine dining experience.
