Finally someone else that understands you can’t get a clean chop of bushes or small trees without first starting at the top and chopping down. Thanks for showing other people the best way. The same way I have always done it
Tim did a pretty good job with that mower attachment on the skid steer, considering it was his first time using it. Was pretty interesting to see a new thing, I've always wondered how clearing like this worked. Cheers.
As one of your fan's, I am eternally grateful that you disconnected that obnoxious travelling alarm,,that sound gets real old, really quick!! Happy Easter to you and your family from your friends in Trout Run,Pa!😀
Doing another great job. The brush cutter does a quick job of the overgrowth and leaves a decent chop as it goes. Good size area cleared in a short amount of time.
Not sure we give Tim all the credit he's due. If you watch his work in the background shots, he seems very skilled. I would think Chris would be a good instructor and hold Tim to high standards. I'm a fan. Would like to see Tim's work featured more. He is obviously an asset to the company and capable of doing 1st class work or Chris and John would send him down the road.
Thanks for sharing the track hose bush hog. I had been thinking about getting one for the same use as you did. Getting tired of spending days trimming branches around our fields with a chain saw.
Yeah, the hydraulic brush cutters don’t come out too often around here either but when they do... they got some work ahead of them! Lol oh hey, you can shut the alarm off in your lcd display. It’s under the third menu in the settings screen, that’s where ours is on our VIO35. No need to unplug anything! Lol
Amazing Chris what you can so with that little yanmar just awesome for sure. The mower was a great addition as well so enjoyed the video thanks for your posting.
Great video Chris as usual but you got to give it to Timmy he does a damn good job at running yawls equipment so thumbs up to Timmy and of course you too but another fine job so you and Timmy and yawls family stay safe and have a blessed day brother
Don't know exactly why but a refreshing change from scoop to truck and push truck once in a while.... they would have a hard time stopping me in that skid steer as it would be going max out through that brush until I got to another clearing.
Man that looks fun! I would love to do that for a stress-reliever! You guys do so many amazing things with those machines, I have always been interested in running equipment like that. Maybe when I retire? HAHA!
Prune those trees brother! Wish you lived nearby, got a 1/2 acre pond i have to-clear the shore by hand, by myself. Wish me luck! Cool how you made a longarm outta the yanmar!
I must admit, I 'zoned out' the beep-beep! It doesn't bother me at all! But spectacular work by you and Tim! I do like to see an neatly trimmed bush! :-)
That newer skid is way quieter than the first one you had. The mower used to make the older one really growl under load, this one barely changes pitch.
Nice job with the brush cut ter there chris. I like that skidsteer with the brush cutter on it. U can get some big clearing done with that. Nice video too
So this week, Upstate Brush Control have done a building pad, and you are mowing trees down. Have I gone to sleep and woken up in a parallel universe?. I always look forward to watching your superb content, while I am eating my tea, here in the U.K.
Glad I'm not standing where the camera is. Those sticks and stumps would hurt. When I grew up, my neighbor on the ranch next to us used a farm tractor with double tires to drag a bush hog over huesatch, and mesquite to allow his native grass to grow for his cattle. The skid steer with the mower would have been great for that kind of cutting.
Question! I have a 6" heavy duty bush hog...I always keep the blade sharp as I only use it to cut grass/fescue. But... On my property i need to cut down some small pines (5-6 foot tall) plus other bushes. I don't want a flat so is it ok to go ahead and cut it all with a sharp blade or do I need to grind it a little flat? Odd question huh?
That brush cutter on the Yanma is going to come in mighty handy when the corona-zombies start attacking. I don't care how good zombies are at coming back from the dead. When a zombie gets mulched, that's game over, no question about it. You'd need to make sure the screen washer bottle was topped up though. Mulching zombies is going to be messy.
I suffer from back seat driver angst. Missed a spot, missed a spot. And then you get it and I think, "Oh Thank God". I've got a 28hp diesel Massey-F and a 5' Bush Hog. It's always great fun, Beating Back the Jungle.
Here in my part of the UK you would have to litter pick first before trimming the verges or there would be shredded plastic all over the countryside. Crap blows out of waste trucks all the time
Mike (Dirt Perfect) did a rundown of all their equipment and attachments, and he said that his brush cutter attached to his Deer 120 had got him as much business as anything else he owned, and made him decent money. This is from memory so won't be verbatim, but it will be close.
Hi Chris . Nice post I have only had experience with flail mowers . That looks like a nice lighter alternative . I see the one on the mini had no case drain/relief line. so was instant stop. The one on the skid steer did it have a relief line ? Because it was slower to stop? Anyway thanks for sharing 👍 you and Tim stay safe 😷😷🤜🤛 🇨🇦 Craig
Sounds like there is a constant changing of the mower RPM's. Are you doing that ? My mini has a foot control on the hydraulic flow rate and direction for augers and or switching to a thumb. Is yours the same ?
Oh, you do gardening too? So you have brown, yellow and now some green fingers. ;-) Best regards from Germany. We people of the world has stay together in that global crisis.
Hi Chris, what brand of mower are you using for the yanmar and what is the maximum diameter trees and brush will it cut ? I'm looking for something like that for my Kubota'miniexcavator... I have a 13,000lb machine
*How long would it take to do an acre of 5ft high grass/weed with this setup?* Thank you for posting this video. Keep'em coming! *Take Care & Safe Travels!*
Did 120 acres of sage (2-3" base and heavy growth) and averaged just over 1/2 acre/hr. On an upper grass pasture (~22 acres thin) could cover in about 7 hrs. Above on a Branson 4020 with a Land Pride 2772 cutter Have moved and have a lower pasture where I had to cut grass over 6' and averaged about 1ac/hr Kubota with a deer 5' cutter from rental yard. Same 6.5 area (6-8") on a zero turn in about 2.5 hours. Spartan 60" 26HP zero turn It helps to have a full suspension seat (branson/spartan) b/c a standard seat will beat you up (Kubota). Full suspension takes the brunt of irregularities in ground and can make you last longer
I worked for the Rural Electric Acc.1965/1968 They had a special built tree brush hog 12 foot wide mounted on a large Cat bucket loader it would walk through a forrest chopping up big tree's for electric power lines.
can car, jeeps drive over the areas where the bushes and small trees have been cut down ? with small stumps still sticking up, will tyres get punctured?

The diversity of the jobs you folks do would sure keep the job fun and interesting. Stay safe.
The forward facing time-lapse off the top of the cab is the most satisfying format! 👌🏻👍🏻
This is the most satisfying type of work to me because at the end of the day you see
such a great difference that you have accomplished
As one of your fan's, I am eternally grateful that you disconnected that obnoxious travelling alarm,,that sound gets real old, really quick!! Happy Easter to you and your family from your friends in Trout Run,Pa!😀
Nice job Chris and Tim 👌👍⚠️

How ironic is it that a ad popped up for Arbor tree care as you were chopping tree branches lol. That mower kicks ass!
Gosh Chris the mini and the mower is the ticket for roads and deer lanes. I think it does a great job.
Yes sooo happy!! No annoying beeping now thank you Chris
Tim is doing a good job for a first-timer
Hey Chis nice work! That's dedication to your fans, disconnecting your back up beeper.
"Hair cut sir" lol. Certainly makes short work of those bushes. Enjoyed this Chris. Cornwall UK.
Thanks for sharing the track hose bush hog. I had been thinking about getting one for the same use as you did. Getting tired of spending days trimming branches around our fields with a chain saw.
1. Why are these videos so satisfying to watch?
2. How do you get rotational energy at the end of the boom? Electric motor?
Tim,.you learn fast! Good job Brother.
I wonder if Kapper is watching this one,...just an idle thought!
Yeah, the hydraulic brush cutters don’t come out too often around here either but when they do... they got some work ahead of them! Lol oh hey, you can shut the alarm off in your lcd display. Sure makes a place look a lot neater good job Chris
Very nice without the beepskees!
Also, great skid steer mower attachment! I saw it on Andrew Camarata's skiddy and man, it makes nice mulch!
You have the various Attachments to go with your Equipment. 👍 A Full Service Company. Nice!
That brush cutting attachment on the skid steer is intense. Good stuff!
26:34. hehehe Thanks Chris, now my kids will stop coming downstairs thinking the smoke alarm is going off when I watch your vids. Saviour. Cheers lol
I like this type of brush cutter instead of the cylindrical type. It leaves less large debris. Nic job, wish you were in my area.
Ok forget the ladder and saw for trimming trees. If you could show us how it cleans gutters I could convince my wife I need a mini! 😂😃Great video 👍👍
Chris that moving machine is pretty cool. Hope u show more videos on moving... 👍😊
Job very well done the both of you it takes teamwork to get things completed
Amazing Chris what you can so with that little yanmar just awesome for sure. The mower was a great addition as well so enjoyed the video thanks for your posting.

Excellent job!! So clean!! Always a Pro!!
Man that looks fun! I would love to do that for a stress-reliever! You guys do so many amazing things with those machines, I have always been interested in running equipment like that. Maybe when I retire? HAHA!
Careful you don't get a flat in those tracks from the stumble. Thanks Chris always a good job
Most enjoyable Chris. Thank you.
Does a darn good job, clears a good size area in no time !
Hi Chris from Martin Manchester, England love all ur videos. I feel like I am there with you.
Great video Chris! A long video helps kill the quarantine boredom!
Wow that mower is hungry on the skid-steer, very cool.
The skid steer makes short work of the small trees, does a good job
Thanks for the guidelines/info on using this attachment. Ill put it to use when i have to run one someday
Great video! That mower head is a BEAST!! Jim in Arizona.
Prune those trees brother! Wish you lived nearby, got a 1/2 acre pond i have to-clear the shore by hand, by myself. Wish me luck! Cool how you made a longarm outta the yanmar!

Your having to much fun, looked like you both enjoyed the change, just as much as we all did
Chris
Thats setup is what our CO-Op has for line rite o ways. Dang nice mower.🙂🤗
So this week, Upstate Brush Control have done a building pad, and you are mowing trees down. Have I gone to sleep and woken up in a parallel universe?.
I always look forward to watching your superb content, while I am eating my tea, here in the U.K.
How do you eat tea?
Timothy Tate With a knife and fork.
For those that don’t speak the Queen’s English ‘tea’ is both a hot drink and a colloquialism for an evening meal. Also aluminium has two ‘i’s. :-o
ehamster I couldn’t of put it better myself. I do also like a spot of liquid tea, as well.
Brits are weird ! 😂
I think Tim got the hang of it pretty quick!
sweet # 5.... Chris you a real cut up... nice work...
Glad I'm not standing where the camera is. Those sticks and stumps would hurt. I’m surprised the beeper lasted as long as it did 😂 Stay safe over there. Greetings from the UK

I need to use one of them where I hunt at awesome video Chris . Hope you have a great Sunday
After the heavy mulching is done, would it make sense to install a robotic mower to keep things maintained?
That brush cutter on the Yanma is going to come in mighty handy when the corona-zombies start attacking. I don't care how good zombies are at coming back from the dead. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha lol😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣
What about the climate change loonies ??
George Davidson they’ll be forced to spend several hours locked in a room listening to Greta Thunderburger.
10:51 I like how you gave the trees a mullet look - business in the front, party in the back!
Don’t know why but something very enjoyable seeing stuff cut back 😎😎
Thanks for killing the beep beeps on the mini.👍
the mowers were pretty cool. never seen one on a mini. stay safe guys.
Great job as always 👍🏻
Number one again this week......great...! just seen five of you video's plus this one...keep them coming....
Really enjoyed this one, Thanks for sharing
Thank you Chris for shutting the cricket up. Lol God bless

Who else couldn't help blinking when he put the mower so that it was shooting stuff directly at the camera?
Kinda made me wanna put my safety glasses on! 😆
@@marcusa3911 me to
I flinched! :-O
i called the safety experts to see if i'd be ok? They were gonna pay him a visit but humans are now scared of one another so i guess it all good !
Me! I used to work for VDOT and know how far those things can fling! I would follow behind and weedeat around the signposts
Mr. Chris. question, why do you throttle your mower? your Yanmar has enough fluid flow to maintain constant speed.
thats wide open, using other machine functions slows it down
Thank you very much for killing the beeper! I really hate that noise.
When you have the right tools the work goes easy!
Really a nice job 👍!
Holy Christmas, you do it all. Do you bush hog it after running the mower, does it really need it?
Tim must watch the UpState Brush guys........LOL Hes Got IT down......
I expected to here "This is John". LOL
Here in my part of the UK you would have to litter pick first before trimming the verges or there would be shredded plastic all over the countryside. Crap blows out of waste trucks all the time
That happens a lot in the US, too. We just pick it up afterward.
@@seanhazelwood3311 Chris was talking about getting convicts to litter pick. Should do that here but they'd probably just run off!
@@kevinprice1702 Oh, I missed that, thanks. We have the inmates here do that, on state/county roads only and only as far in as the road ditch.
Tim went from rollin to mowin. Soon he will be all grown up. Lol
Imagine the power of the 250 with a mower😂 you could cut trees with it
This is what we have out here were I'm ua-cam.com/video/OkaqH64jVNs/v-deo.html

My dog thanks you for removing the darn beeper from the mini, he hates beeping from anything and just sits and shakes whenever he hears one.
"Gonna do a little demo and let Tim take over"....(ends up doing half the lot) 😂😎
That is absolutely amazing! Thank you
Hi Chris, what brand of mower are you using for the yanmar and what is the maximum diameter trees and brush will it cut ? I'm looking for something like that for my Kubota'miniexcavator... I have a 13,000lb machine
Hands down this is the best "pruning how to" video on YT.
Looks good. I would like to operate both pieces of equipment👍
I forgot how handy the mower on the mini was. Definitely handy tools to have.

@BBDcummins All humans ain't humans!
What gives? No mud, no fires, no Volvo, no rain. This must be boring. Thanks for the vids Chris and stay healthy.
Isn't it satisfying to finish a job like that?
V-Belt in california (Has a Channel) uses a Takeuchi too. He has an FAE drum chopper on his. 6" trees are nothing.
do you have a pedal for the aux. for the blades? why do you keep "bumping" the aux for the blades to run?
I enjoyed watching as if you are cutting hair.
4:30 my eyes were already starting to swell and my nose was itching from the pollen flying around! >SNEEZE
God Bless you.
Lucky I wear glasses as some of those bits sure looked dangerous to the unsuspected. Enjoyed the video too. Stay safe ya'll.
