We always called them Iron-Bark Eucalyptus. Not sure if that is correct though. They are plentiful in San Diego CA. Probably trimmed a hundred of those things.
@@Jackofalltrees Yes, lots of Eucs in California for sure. They light quickly and burn very hot. San Diego is mostly Manna Gum Eucs and the Lemon Gum are very common in Orange County. They usually don't survive after being burned. I personally believe that there is terrible mismanagement in California and they let bureaucracy & red-tape interfere with getting anything done properly there and this is what's causing the horrendous fires we are seeing now.
My friend I feel your pain about the echo 2511 T. The same thing happened to me ,, and I'm in North America... They always said at ripsaw when I called, waiting for a CNC machine so they could do it faster...10 months later,...Great saw but the wait time is insane 😲😦😦
@@JackofalltreesGreat video! Sounds like the saw is breaking in nicely. These saws do require some slight tuning after the break in, and during seasonal changes due to the small manuel carburetor. I’m sure that will help the issues with it stalling. Please call the shop if you need assistance, we would be happy to help!
Yeah I live in Pittsburgh I live like an hour and a half away from ripsaw my 2511 took a year and 3 months to get to me and I'm not exaggerating at all great work they do love the guys but that's just too long I commented in the other video I deal with the guy Red Beard saws now he is absolutely phenomenal his saws are monsters and the wait time is not long at all

Is it true that there's lots of eucalyptus around CA? And it's changing the way fires burn?

Yup 9.5 months to get that same saw up here in Canada. A lot of money to front and wait that long. It rips but that’s to long for me
Mine just stalls now. Won't idle at all

Cheers guys, will try it, other than the stalling issue... It's a bloody powerful little saw!
Keep doing these raw videos Jack, maybe some Raw removal videos will be good, even if they’re hours long!
It's also a lot easier to edit!😆
Just wondering where you get all your rope from?
I got that from "ARBconnect" in Melbourne. It's called Drenaline
what was the guys name that built the saw great video btw
Ripsaw USA. It's awesome now, I just needed to up the idle a touch, no more stalling!
