Half/Half Cafe - Tradie Food Reviews Ep.68
These two blokes are raving about a cafe tucked away in an industrial estate. The food’s greasy, the vibe’s rough, and they absolutely love it. To them, it’s a no-frills, down-to-earth gem, and they’re convinced the gritty charm just adds to the experience. It’s like watching two guys discover their version of a perfect spot, completely sold on the place

Looks good but nothing beats Yatala pies two hefty homemade sausage rolls, a hefty sized serve of chips, a small tub of gravy or peas with a caramel tart and a can of coke. Man sized, made for hungry men who only eat once. Nothing fancy, in and out, just good hard solid fill for +/- $20.

Species ID Eucalyptus Cephalocarpa autumn flowering Used extensively in landscaping on Melbourne's east and south east during the late 70s early 80s and into the 90s. Really not that much of an amazing species and especially not one that provides much joy. After thirty or forty years in the ground could probably do with being replaced by a spring flowering species.

I cured arthritis in my hands, cured plantar fasciitis in my right foot, Ankylosing spondilitis in my back is 95% better, skin is a lot softer and clearer, teeth and gums are healthier, no brain fog, no anxiety, incredibly calm, no more farts, no more bloating, way less body odour, takes way longer to burn in the sun, waaaaayyy faster recovery after lifting at the gym, no more spots on the back of my upper arms, fvck the list goes on. I'm 100% convinced that meat heals the body. And it does it quick if you cut out plants and all carbs. Vege dude saying he craves carbs is fvcking hilarious. Carbs are addictive so of course he's craving them. His brain runs on carbs so is sending signals that it needs more because carbs burn fast and you need a lot to sustain energy. Ketones are sustainable and long lasting. As a 48 year old with a history of bad diet and heavy drinking I can honestly I've never felt better than I do when I'm in a deep ketosis. And I can honestly get up and go for a 3-4 hour surf on a spoon of coco oil and still not be hungry until lunchtime. I can feed myself for a week on carnivore for $100. And I get ethically reared mince, eggs, bacon and raw milk. Meat heals.

A wild apple is a crab apple try eating a couple of those. Brocolli was invented in the 1970's. Hunting was the main occupation. If hunting was unsuccessful or not possible due to bad weather, there were alternatives such as berries, bird eggs, roots or fasting. People fell into ketosis and the body was consumed by stored fat. Genghis Khan's army always had horses with them, from which blood was taken to drink when no other food was available. It was the strongest army in the world. The main diet was meat.

@@Jackofalltrees I think he means 'bio-availability' haha. It means what the body is able to use. i.e you can't just say protein is protein and all protein is used the same in the body. For example gluten is a protein but egg whites are protein. The stomach hates gluten and loves animal protein. Our stomachs have receptors that thrive on amino acids and essential fatty acids. All the important ones come from animal products. Iron is another good example. Some vegans are still getting anemia yet they fill up on spinach and shit that they are told is high in iron. But they don't realise that iron in plants is not the same bio-availability as 'heme' iron from meat. Anyway diet is a complicated subject that nobody really knows anything about so I just do what feels right to me. And trust me I followed the guidelines for what to eat my entire life up until my problems got too many and I decided to give the carnivore diet a go. I will never go back to a standard diet. I may have a few nuts or berries and a piece of pumpkin or brocolli here and there but 95% of food I consume from now on will be meat, eggs and raw milk.
