He is a quality coach mate , was a shit manager but very good coach on the training ground by all accounts

Middlesbrough relegated within a couple of seasons of him leaving, shows how much he was over performing with that squad.
Won a Dutch league title with FC Twente, don't need to explain the magnitude of this.
He obviously had a wretched time with England, but every club he has been at since has maintained their shiteness (Wolfburg, QPR, Forest, Derby) which says more about the way those clubs are run than McClaren.

Because actually ETH has been building his system of play all this time with McClaren's system as a basic. It will be easy to ETH to introduction his system to Man United with some help from McClaren who familiar with that system and also familiar with Man United and English football culture.

Why does he keep going on about Dutch football and philosophy being so great and magical, Holland don't win anything. They haven't won anything in years and years. They don't win the CL. Honestly, living on past reputation. His dutch philiosphy didn't do him much good at QPR or Derby. Holland DON'T win anything.
