I just viewed this trailer and believed just from the feeling of it that it has potential to be one of the best anime of the season (which is an extremely competitive season with shingeki/fruits basket/bungou/one punch man 2 - and just realized this is gonna be Watanabe Shinichiro is actually supervising this. I have a lot of faith in this.

Seeing the girl with the dreads makes me so unbelievably happy, learning that the plot is going to be interesting and hearing their beautiful voices for the first time makes me want to cry even more T--T and what if--what if this is in the Cowboy Bebop universe!? Bruh I would die from happiness
Late Antiquity Fan damn let me dream lol jk but yes I at least want to see some references! This show almost looks like a reimagined cowboy bebop in a way so that’d be cool. but like you said The concept of the show is unique either way, I expect nothing less from Watanabe 💕

@@alajononon well space dandy is not that good at least for me aside from visuals and animation but is really good in a comedy context too. If you want you can give it a shot trying to watch 3 episodes, people don't have the same opinion so you might like it.
It's hit or miss. Either it is the most amazing and creative thing ever, that stretches the boundaries of the medium, your own imagination, animation and storytelling, where the director(watanabe) introduced a whole legion of talent to the industry. Or it could be just some juvenile bebob knockoff with fanservice every 4 episodes. Decide for yourself. Just watch 3 random episodes.( except the last one.)
