How do you turn off that annoying announcement for the spa sounds when you touch the keypad that controls the water jets and heated seat etc.? That is annoying to hear every bath! Also the size my parents got, it’s difficult for them to walk in, sit down and close the door. They have to do it in an unsafe way which is ironic you call this a safe step tub. Maybe a redesign of the door for smaller units should have been considered. Overall they like it but for the money, these things are major disappointments.

Bought a house with one in it...what a steaming pile of tub!!. Had to hang FOUR shower curtains to keep it from flooding the floor, widow sill, and wall areas with deflected water when showering, it has a giant shelf behind the faucet to catch water and allow it to drain off onto the floor on that side. Eventually the shower hose broke and safe steps factory warranty dept informed me there is NO coverage on parts for subsequent owners. They connected me to a parts dept number that just rang and rang and rang...no answer. Garbage product, garbage warranty, unhelpful company for any product support.
