I like when you find a song like this and it feels like you've found Jesus
And jesus is playing drums ❤
i completely prefer this to the recorded version. idk whether its the change of key or the slightly different feel but its just so much more soulful oh my
Wow this song comes on every day at this barbershop I work at and I grew to really really like it and after hear this version...I’m in love 😍
Pretty cool barbershop you work at
So good at bein a trombone
Jack Schubert LMAOOO fuck thanks for that
😂
The guy on keys makes this so much better than the recorded version in my opinion.
He and the drummer really make this band IMHO, that and how much stuff goes on in their songs.
Make the band? Like any good band, they are greater than sum of their parts
He’s the actual keyboard player for their band
How much better? I think 42 or 43.
love this version the most. so natural, soft... closing my eyes and just chill out :)
3:27 begins the best part
I consider myself fortunate for not only seeing these guys but meeting them as well. Class acts!
You might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like listening to Unknown Mortal Orchestra
i wanna hook up with those warm keyboards
Dude...... the drummer..... I’m telling you. You just hear it.
Damn I love this song
This is what it might sound like if Alt-J did a Steely Dan song...
thanks for the video drop a live rendition is awesome reminds me of when I saw him I'm Ohio and he kicked ass!!!!
Nice tune, chilling...
god damnmit this is mesmerizing
im a big advocate for the UMO studio versions but this live version is a really good take on the song. I really like this.

420th like ayee 🙌🏽 I love this version more so than album version
Nice. I thought they wouldnt sound nice on live. Love this
They're so good live, I was also surprised how tight they were when I saw them. But they really bring these songs to a different place live. It's worth seeing yourself.
thanks for this song
Love this..thanx!
They are amazing!!! 😘😘😘
They follow me on Instagram believe it or not
how does he get that dirty effect sound on his mic? whats the trick?
+Human Being he is not singing directly into the mic, that also gives that dirty effect. But on the album version he has a compressor that makes that effect
Raquel Martins Thanks!
he uses saturation. you can see in the video they did with reverb
Yes lawd!!!!
so good!!
The drummer looks like Viggo Mortensen in Captain Fantastic
חאן שקדי Strange but true observation
so good at being on vocal
much better at being on guitar.
Why are we not funding this!?
I bought the record
Oh man, I always thought it was the other Nielsen that was in this band! Hahaha
Whoa this is fucking solid
Meaning of song?
Someone feeling depressed and missing some toxic ex partner. Even though this person was "bad at being in love", this guy resent her absence and feels lonely
Godammmit it's jazz
I'm going to get this video 100k views (currently 99862)
wondering if youtube comment section gonna bombard me with "nobody cares"
Ruban kinda sounds like Greased up deaf guy here ahaha
Brian R. Lmao
Kinda disappointing to hear this one live 😞
Disappointed in what? Yourself?
So good at being bad singing live
Hahahaha right
Can you guys do better?
he left his voice at home
why bad? It's perfect...
did you realize they play it at a different tone didnt ya?
Thank god for auto tune…
Hmm weak live voice, pretty cool song though.
not that weak, definately check out the acoustic version
man! I wish he wound just sing INTO the Mike!? it must be so frustrating for a sound guy to have to work with this guy?
the texture of this performance is so gentle and solid but I just saint to be able to actually here the singer's voice. I know he's just trying to keep it all so subdued but COME ON ALREADY! I love this song and I love this band but please just let me enjoy it forget about your boyish humility and let me hear it !!!???
This is one of their more "pop" sounding tracks, their overall sound is composed of heavily filtered vocals so it's just a part of their sound. He does indeed have a great voice, you can listen to some performances of just his acoustic guitar and vocal.
I think a big part of their sound is a quaint mutedness, it's sort of like the signature style of vocal delivery in shoegaze.
It's on purpose
Moist my dude
