Thank you for your videos. They are very useful. But you didn't mention the placement of the wooden sticks at the bottoom, where you begin to weave, and what are they used for. The opened shed is small, whon'tbe more usefulis the shed stick heedle can be pulled and placed over a stepped support? And the other stick be flat, so you can turn it to open a more wide shed?
Thak you for note. Please watch this video which you can find on the website. Does it help answer your question? ua-cam.com/video/5BtFxlwvI-Y/v-deo.html
@@persianweavers2820 Thank you, it does. And it is very helpful. And what do you think about my questions about the other way to open a wider shed? What would be it's disadavantages? As I'm learning, it would be useful to have a wider vision about the different types of mechanisms to open the shed.Thank you for your attention.
Nothing wrong with using the flat stick. Just be careful, the wider the flat stick would provide more room to maneuver, however it would also put a lot more pressure on the warps. If you use a flat stick, make sure you open closer to the top of the warps. I hope that makes sense.
A splendid series! Precise, informative aaaand a very soothing narration voice 😌
