This slightly slowed down version of Pillow Talk in this video is in B flat major (Private Caller is also in B flat major). When Lustt recorded Pillow Talk in 1983, the intro was recorded in D major. Then they sped it up by 50% (an octave), resulting in it sounding high pitched and very fast (but still in D major). This is what you hear on the final recording. To hear the intro to Pillow Talk the way it originally sounded before Lustt sped it up for the final recording, download the original track by Lustt (It's on youtube about 5:11 long). Then use the program Audacity and change the SPEED percentage to -50.000. This allows you to hear the keyboard intro the way it was recorded before it was sped up for the final recording.

There's a thing with private caller where there are some intentionally misplaced extra beats and that's just beautiful but this is very beautiful too. Why can't you let beauty flourish?
