i look it up and they said the over head power lines wont be strung back up because the double stack container freight trains are still traveling on these tracks so instead they are using a quiet diesel powered generator trailer to power the interurban car they said they are making a replica baggage car to house the generator to power the car in the future
I love Surrey ❤ Taking a History of Vancouver Seminar at SFU and doing a project on BC Electric and BCPC and eventually BC Hydro! Let me know if anyone has any cool places I can do for a digital video project I am doing to correspond with my paper on this topic! Cheers😊

beautiful
I have to check that out
Great, I would like to see this machine too :)
Three, one operational and 2 more are being restored.
Thanks!
Wow, that's a really neat historic trolley. How long is the line at Cloverdale, that they can run on with the old railcar?
Indeed it is. They run out to Sullivan station and back, which is 15km round trip. Sadly they did not operate this year due to covid-19.
The Interurban car is being powered by a diesel generator trailer. It allows electric operation without the need to string overhead wires.
I see, I just assumed since there was two in the shop.
The streetcar is not the fvhrs. They are just storing it for now. So only 1 interurban is under rehabilitation.
What song is that at the end!?
how is it getting power - no OH wires ?
Pretty sure that thing that was attached to the tram was a generator, which is powering it
I would of took a ride if it wasn't for the huge line up.
Are they planning on putting up overhead wires?
LongHoodForwardProductions Not that I'm aware of, where as it would probably cost a lot to do so.
Do they still do this ?
Yes, last weekend was their start of the season.
Oh that’s excellent. I’ll have to check it out
Thanks!
Thanks!
