I'll second - Christian33 - suggestion for - Patches - Back in the early 1970's my Daddy who was born in 1919 and had his formative years in the depression ridden backstreets of northern England in the 1930's as the eldest of the family - his daddy having died soon after the first world war - went out to work at 12 to help provide for the family - he gave his wages to his mum who gave him a little back - he loved this song, and I can now see why. A real tear jerker.
