Stunning curve and drop ball. Saw her in the Canada Cup defeat Danielle Lawrie 1-0. Quite teh battle of stud pitchers. She looks real fast in this video, but Cat is really more about movement on her ball adn location.
She is a amazing pitcher like Jenny Finch just a bit better but non of the top all time woman can touch Eddie Feigner (pronounced fay-ner) had 141,000 strikeouts in his career, 930 no-hitters & 238 perfect games. He would even pitch from second base & center field. In a 1967 exhibition at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Mr. Feigner faced a lineup of six Major League Baseball players (five of whom were later elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame). He struck out all six -- Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Brooks Robinson, Willie McCovey, Maury Wills and Harmon Killebrew -- in succession. He died this last year of demensia but toured the world for 55 years. Probably the most underrated athlete of our time.
@@budaustin6681 You have no clue. Feigner, a Marine during WWII, started in the 1940s. At that time, and well into the 70s mens' fast pitch softball was very popular in the US. It's still popular in other countries, but not as much in the US as slow pitch took over as a recreational game. Feigner pitched softballs 104 mph with plenty of movement from a 46 ft pitching rubber, and was offered contracts from MLB when he was in his prime. He was making far more money doing exhibitions than MLB was paying in those days. You can see many videos here on UA-cam of Feigner, as well as current games from around the world. Educate yourself before making silly comments.
If you dont like softball then why are you watching this video? softball is a really active sport and fun so if you dont like it then oh well. your one person. no ones gonna care.
@softballrocks04 I hope you were joking. What I said can be nothing but a compliment. I'd have no problem with someone comparing Randy Johnson to Cat Osterman.
she's my freaking hero.
Fantastic pitcher. Kinda feel sorry for those Aussie girls going up against that. They never stood a chance.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL
I love Cat and I've been watching her since yr college days
That is an amazing variety of pitches.
It's a shame that this sport isn't in the Olympics anymore.
this comment didnt age well
THIS comment was DOA.
It was always bizarre they pulled it in the first place.
Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott were about equal to each other.
AGHHH I LOVE HER SO MUCHHH ❤️ 💕
I love softball sooo much!! cant wait for all stars this june:)

Awesome

Best lefty ever...
She's just so amazing; really like Randy Johnson from 1999-2004.
Cat Osterman is the greatest thing that came out of UTexas.
@x8equalsDx she said that she would rarely ever throw a fastball that means all of her pitches have great movement i find that amazing
Damn thats crazy...
Me too!!!! Im sooo excited. I got bad seats tho.
@1999LANEY nice way to cover your mistake, you really know your stuff
she doesnt pitch fast she works with finesse
@redetrigan that's australia, they like it sleeveless there. check out AFL for example :D
@fastpitchdunker101 Lol, says 13 right at the end.
2 of those ks looking were balls the catcher just had to sell it.

Patrick Morgan your right bro I stand corrected, that dude sounds awesome. The only one that sounds queer is you
@@budaustin6681 That must have gotten a lot of laughs from your 5th grade classmates.
Patrick Morgan lol good one, now please tell me more about your boyfriend
@@budaustin6681 He said that he did you last night. And has video. After that, what else do you need to know?
@porangahauien I'm not the one who needs to cover my mistake

@sportgoddess12 there were like two that i thought looked like balls, because they were a little high.
The batter at :24 pretty much has a look on her face that she already knows she's not gonna hit the little yellow ball. lol
The sleeveless uniforms seem questionable
i have faced the Australian pitcher
The shorts were lovely. Not so good sliding into second though!
@1999LANEY You can still have a no-hitter if you walk a batter or someone on defense makes an error.
how fast does she throw?
It looks to be around upper 50s to middle 60s
@@IceCream-ey2kg Thanks bruh. Where were you 10 years ago 😂
62-65 mph
Y does it matter if we play softball it's just as challenging!!!
What do you meann?
@1999LANEY You can have a hundred walks and still pitch a no hitter unless i misunderstood u
@codzilla69 what do you mean
@softballrocks04 I hope you were joking. What I said can be nothing but a compliment. I'd have no problem with someone comparing Randy Johnson to Cat Osterman.
My teachers son went to prom with kat
Because baseball pitches underhand and softball is over hand. it makes it easier
@1999LANEY Are u serious?
how many K's did she get?
@TheGrudge119 then why did you put Cat Osterman No-Hitter cause if she walked her its not a no hitter
@melanieisawesome213 megan williams
@1999LANEY ahahaha, that hits hard man, you should stop, your the one who was wrong, be gracious in defeat.
@porangahauien see you don't have the guts to reply
i've gotten a 14k in one ok my games:)
liberty gilliland really? That’s great. Was it also in the Olympics??? Didn’t think so
@TheGrudge119 well stop ummming me its getting on my nerves
@1999LANEY what? that make no sense seing as your the one who made the mistake...
@1999LANEY dont care, so your arguing on youtube when your obviously wrong and your a parent, wow...
CHICAS SEXY ME GUSTARIA QUE SEAN MIS NOVIAS
@Suchiazski Please dont compare her to a guy -.-
shes good, but some of those girls were swinging at pitches that couldve been balls.
yeah...that’s how it goes when u have mad movement...
When a girl is on 2nd base it's not a no-hitter
It's a no hitter if no gets a hit . It's just not a perfect game . You can reach base via a walk , hit batsman or error & still have a no-hitter .
