the chain would have been fine if you hadn't stuffed it into the ground on your 1st cut try keeping it out of the dirt next time
It definitely didn't help but I've done a lot worse and it stayed sharp so idk

@Robo Burned if dirt is quite soft, then try hit it with the speed of that chain. Theres sand, rocks, pebbles etc in dirt that dulls saws.
