How to Focus Stack in 2 Minutes

- Hello everyone! This video explains how you can use focus stacking to increase depth of field by combining multiple separately-focused exposures together. In the video I explain the principle of focus stacking, what gear you will need, how to take the pictures, and how to combine them using Adobe Photoshop. I know when I wanted to try focus stacking, there were a lot of well-made, but also long-winded videos available, so I explained the technique in a quick, simple, yet effective time frame.

bro i like the way you teach a photography in a simple 2danimation and with mor knowledge keep it up i want you to make more
thanks for this! simple and easy tutorial
So simple yet very effective.
very very good its very helpful.
Could you do a video about types of photography? Love your tutorial videos btw.
I like this video, very straightforward. I find that the white areas that PS finds "sharp", is not always correct, and other areas become blurred or you get that "halo" effect around some edges. I can't find anywhere online on how to fix and adjust those areas. I'm newer to photo stacking and would love to learn more about it
A more in-depth focus stacking guide is definitely one I hope to make soon. Hopefully I can address your concerns in that video.
amazing!
This is such a great video! Reminds me of kurgezagst

You are very welcome.
Bought my camera in June and I wasn't able to take good pictures. It wasn't until October I started to take some decent pictures from these videos. I mainly got the camera for astrophotography but these videos do help.
I'm glad these videos are helping you!
NEXT: HOW TO USE FLASH PROPERLY
please!!!!
Thank you ( merci ) ^^
I love your videos man always Short and informative........ By the way which camera should i buy 800d(t7i) or 77d? is 77d just worthy for that LCD difference??
Thanks, I would buy the t7i over the 77d just because of the lower price. The top LCD and button differences are a subjective difference, but other than that they are essentially the same camera.
Great! Just waiting for the sun to come out to try this. Does it works on night landscape?
Yes, but you may need to use a larger aperture (lower f-number) to let in more light, which, depending on the depth of field you want to capture, may require more images to create a complete stack.
I use AEB to make HDR photos. Just about any good editor can make a good HDR photo.
Never have used AEB but I bet it's a good software!
@@Apalapse it's automatic exposure bracketing. Canon has it with the exposure compensation.
is there another program than photoshop that can do this?
Love your videos! But a video a month is a bit not enough…
陳柏燁 he's only 18 and he doesn't have enough time rn
There is now new service allowing to do the focus stacking in the browser too: focusstackingonline.com/
Wow, this is a really interesting tool!
