I was never super into 2 close until I caught this video. This version is still my favorite but I enjoy the album version a lot more now too. Here's a question for fans; Would you rather attend this show in '92 (Pod, Guava) in a super small venue or a show in the '00's with a much larger catalog and larger venue?
I got to see 'em at The Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, touring in support of Chocolate and Cheese in the mid 90s...TWICE; they came back around later in the tour because they had a particular affinity for this venue. So I sort of got a larger song selection AND a small venue...and they were phenomenal.
@@jodybarnes9466 that's choice cut man! Ween back then was so brown. It's great that they have such a passionate following now but seeing them live is like seeing the Beatles in a arena, the fans are like the loudest in the world for 2 hours. Not even Sabbath's very last tour is even close to Ween in fan "appreciation"
I'm honored to be the first to comment on this vid. I saw these fellas on this tour in '92 and was blown away. Damn, that was so long ago.... Hope you guys are well.
StArE iN2 the Lions eyez and if U taste the candy U will get 2 the surprise!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just a taste... Pure brown fucking gold.

GauntLife Nah pod and Guava were Ween in their prime also i'd love to see Aaron and Mickey high on shrooms
didn't matter to me. Saw them in '98 with my dad when I was 5, then again this year at the Rave and it was still awesome
1994 was Ween's peak in my opinion and I wasn't even one year old when The Mollusk came out so that sucks.

Well they were 12 around 1998/1999. The Mollusk was released in 1997. So, I think you have your answer ;-)
UnkleChrud they were 14 when they formed the band in 1984.
