Anxious to see more of this build as I myself am installing a 2jz in my 72 nova. I am using a factory subframe with full ride tech suspension, currently trying to source the rear sump oil pan and trying to figure out if I want to stay with a linkage style steering or switch to a rack.

Sweet dude! There's plenty of room for the linkage honestly. I have no interference issues.
Can't wait to see another JZ Nova haha

Thanks for the support, I get a lot of flap from people about not doing an LS but I wanted different and WTF kinda stuff. Have a couple ideas for the motor mount but interested in what you come up with since your slightly ahead in your build than me.

Nice swap! I'm interested on how you do the motor mounts. I'm wanting to put one in a s10 blazer.

I've gone back and forth a few times but once I get the next couple steps done I'll be able to settle more firmly on a plan. I have some stuff that'll open up more clearance and options.

Did you ever run into tire rub or any clearance issues with the steering, after the Cherokee power steering swap??
    I've seen a rotary engine in a nova but never a 1jz
I'm guessing the ls was too boring lol

      Basically xD
And nope. Steering box was pretty easy

Would a 3 or 2 core radiator make a difference with space

I don't think so, since this is already like a 3" core
Just a single core/single pass though far as I know
I'm going to start off with this but I get the feeling I'll need to upgrade eventually. I want a triple pass and dual fans ultimately
