Yeah I got into these guys when they released Passover & I seen them when they opened up for the Black Keys and me and like 5 other people were cheering. Now that they can sell out venues with 600-1000 people doesn't mean they turned into 'radio' rock nor are they trying to. Modern rock radio stations will not put these guys on regular rotation. Just like they won't put My Morning Jacket, Tame Impala, Interpol, Band Of Horses, Wolf Parade on either, he'll they don't even put Radiohead on regular play. If they did then that means people are finally starting to get it, but I've always said bands like the ones I named and there are others don't really need the help of radio play because those bands are discovered by people who have a passion for music and get the word out and where their shirts. Most of the bands that get constant air play on the radio most likely would not be able to have the impact/or popularity the other bands do without that help.
