And now, Riot decided to give him passive AD based on health, so these past few games I've been finishing the game with about 400 to 500 AD on a full tank, which is like double my ADC's xD

An infinitely stacking, scaling Demolish that makes each health gain and damage iteration better and better, that also gives you an increased health percentage with each item? Ah yes. Heardsteel isnt even broken. Jak sho is. People highly overestimate the value of this item. Health alone isnt good. Heardsteel doesnt give any resitances at all meaning it is only really good on certain champs. Also did you see how much hp rav gained at the end of the game he gained 700-800 bonus hp in a 40 minute game. Thts not worth it at all. With jak sho he could have had 400 armore amd 300 magic resist.

I’d love to see a meta where the same 5 champions aren’t picked or banned every game, the amount of Hecarim and Mordekaiser bans I’ve seen recently is absolutely absurd, every single game it’s the same thing. That's at least what I remember when I used to play league a while back, so take it with a grain of salt.

I love how watching rav's videos in the correct order is just step by step the game getting more broken and less maintained. Whenever i play this game i miss the old League and wonder how people could play this game for multiple hours without understanding we're reaching a point where you can play with 0 brain cells and still win the game.
Because that is exactly what it has NOT turned into. Counter building, proper map awareness, adaptability, and skill to control lanes and objectives are still very much strong in the game...if you'd stop charging for every fight and trying to end the game at 20-25 mins.

But there is no downside to having it. The majority of the damage you are going to receive will not be based on maximum health and to top it off you can follow up Heartsteel with a full resistances build if that maximum health damage is a real threat. Most tanks have some form of health scaling in their kits and items like Demonic and Titanic, which both scale with health, make tanks so much harder to deal with now. Edit: I have tested a bunch of champions that either rely on auto attacks or have on-hit in their abilities. Let me tell you that you don't want to deal with a Fiora or Irelia with 6000 health. Heartsteel accompanied by fighter and bruiser items makes such champions really strong.
here's a little tip for all you zac newbies out there (looking at you, rav): you can and should use your w while you are bouncing around with your ult to maximize damage :)
When the tanks come out you better pray your ADC goes full tank buster build or it gonna get annoying. And even then only helps if you can keep them alive long enough to shoot the tank to death. A heavy tank with a very good assassin is a nightmare to contend with.
Try heartseeker with Diana, she, unlike Tanks can consistetly apply the passive while gaining immese amounts of health, additionaly she can now build sunfire on top of it leading to a character who builder than Ornn and Brokener than Kayn.

Tank meta makes me sad, I only play ARAM now, but I usually play support and I've found being a support next to useless now. What does it matter what stuns or poke you have, when in 2 items time you're absolutely useless, can't even hurt a tank, can't escape, and get blasted in 2 seconds flat. Heartsteel is only useful to handful of top lane champions, like Sion or Zac. Most champions want to build resistance not health. Even for champions like Sion and Zac, Sunfire Cape was a lot better mystic and is now almost useless. Heartsteel has a very high pickrate and very low winrate in Dia+
so i was watching the video and at minute 1:10 i just thought of a solution. Instead of Hearsteel making that insane damage, how about it give just the HP stack in exchange of the risk of the player putting itself into to just be able to stack it up, it seems like that's the biggest problem

Most games end before I can get over 8k HP on Chogath and still have an item left to build...... For those wanting to understand how to stop this? Simple, use champions that deal max % HP damage, and its not like Riot hasn't added a METRIC FUCKTON of them to the game over the years. Even back in the good old days of season 4, Vayne was the literal bane of your existence if you were a tank, Max %HP TRUE damage, not current HP, total HP. Vi was added on the tail end of that season who also dealt max current %HP damage AND broke your armor, so it was about as good as vaynes true damage. Brand was also another tank killer, as he burned you alive for your HP along side Liandries Torment (quite an old item now), add in Demonic Mask today and now your burning to death and can't do anything about it. Today there is Senna, Brand 2.0 (Lillia), Fiora (post rework), Camile (with Sunder), Cho'gath himself can deal with tanks (E, spikes). That's just to name a few that can deal with tanks, many others I didn't mention also have innate anti-tank abilities. Itemizing against a tank still has limited success with the nerf to BorK a few seasons ago, but it still can help with traditional ADC's if you get some armor pen and lethality along side it.
Imagine giving an item that gives 800 health plus more from passive also do a burst damage that will keep scaling with your ever increasing health pool...what could go wrong. I get this is preseason, but there are some things that should be too obvious for Riot to know how broken it is. On one hand all these preseason items make the game interesting, but on the other hand some of these items are really frustrating to deal with, even for preseason.

As the game goes on and they get more items with resistance+health good luck trying to take them down…not to mention the burst damage is also stronger. I personally seen the likes of sion, cho, and sett get an extra 900-1000 health on top of the base 800 health by mid-late game. It is frustrating to deal with.
You should play jak sho the protean, if you think heartsteal is busted then play that. Heartsteal isn’t that good into some comps and it’s impossible to start first bc it’s only hp there’s no resistances on it or damage, the way you counter it is not trading. Also none of your team mates built antiheal or antitank for Mundo but we won’t speak on that.
That item is broken enough to be used on every champ for any build. It's basically required. Riot logic fine-tuned to make the game less interesting with every season.

The main mistake riot keeps making, is adding in "tank items" that give more damage based on tankiness. The game, all of it's champions, and all of its items should be balanced around tankiness or damage being a CHOICE. It should be a concious and forced choice for players to either do more damage or be more tanky, rather than having the ability to do both. It wouldn't matter as much if a champ is unkillable, if they aren't able to output any damage. If anything tank items should have something like "-20% damage done to champions" on them, that way it's a trade-off instead of a win-win. There needs to be class identity where tanks feel like tanks, damage dealers feel like damage dealers, and supports feel like supports. And if, for example, a tank wants to build damage, then his tankiness should suffer in exchange. Items like Jak'sho and Heartsteel completely remove that decision making and class identity.
that -20% damage penalty would be fine if it wouldnt completely make actual tanks useless against the real problems which are juggernauts, bruisers and fighters in lane maybe not if it would proc when more than 1 enemy or ally is nearby, like hullbreaker

isnt heartsteel one of the weakest tank items, like i havent heard anyone ever complain about this, it looks broken when you scale it through a long drawn out game ofc it will look broken, but every maxhealth damage item shreds through it, divine / Botrk remove those types of high health tanks from the game. Jaksho is far worse, even frostfire is underrated

I've been running heartsteel on mages with demonic embrace recently, and it's safe to say this item is not okay.

Tank meta makes me sad, I only play ARAM now, but I usually play support and I've found being a support next to useless now.
What does it matter what stuns or poke you have, when in 2 items time you're absolutely useless, can't even hurt a tank, can't escape, and get blasted in 2 seconds flat.

Heartsteel is only useful to handful of top lane champions, like Sion or Zac. Most champions want to build resistance not health. Even for champions like Sion and Zac, Sunfire Cape was a lot better mystic and is now almost useless.
Heartsteel has a very high pickrate and very low winrate in Dia+

so i was watching the video and at minute 1:10 i just thought of a solution. Instead of Hearsteel making that insane damage, how about it give just the HP stack in exchange of the risk of the player putting itself into to just be able to stack it up, it seems like that's the biggest problem

For those wanting to understand how to stop this? Simple, use champions that deal max % HP damage, and its not like Riot hasn't added a METRIC FUCKTON of them to the game over the years. Even back in the good old days of season 4, Vayne was the literal bane of your existence if you were a tank, Max %HP TRUE damage, not current HP, total HP. Vi was added on the tail end of that season who also dealt max current %HP damage AND broke your armor, so it was about as good as vaynes true damage. Brand was also another tank killer, as he burned you alive for your HP along side Liandries Torment (quite an old item now), add in Demonic Mask today and now your burning to death and can't do anything about it. Today there is Senna, Brand 2.0 (Lillia), Fiora (post rework), Camile (with Sunder), Cho'gath himself can deal with tanks (E, spikes). That's just to name a few that can deal with tanks, many others I didn't mention also have innate anti-tank abilities. Itemizing against a tank still has limited success with the nerf to BorK a few seasons ago, but it still can help with traditional ADC's if you get some armor pen and lethality along side it.

Imagine giving an item that gives 800 health plus more from passive also do a burst damage that will keep scaling with your ever increasing health pool...what could go wrong. I get this is preseason, but there are some things that should be too obvious for Riot to know how broken it is. On one hand all these preseason items make the game interesting, but on the other hand some of these items are really frustrating to deal with, even for preseason.

Early game you maybe able to kill them even if they have hearsteel, they are dying with a small victory since the passive is not temporary but permanent. If they are fighting then heartsteel passive is working it’s magic. As the game goes on and they get more items with resistance+health good luck trying to take them down…not to mention the burst damage is also stronger. I personally seen the likes of sion, cho, and sett get an extra 900-1000 health on top of the base 800 health by mid-late game. It is frustrating to deal with.
Heartsteel is overrated. It looks nice on clickbait videos, but it's meh in actual games. In the end tanks had to be buffed.

You should play jak sho the protean, if you think heartsteal is busted then play that. Heartsteal isn’t that good into some comps and it’s impossible to start first bc it’s only hp there’s no resistances on it or damage, the way you counter it is not trading. Also none of your team mates built antiheal or antitank for Mundo but we won’t speak on that.
That item is broken enough to be used on every champ for any build. It's basically required. Riot logic fine-tuned to make the game less interesting with every season.
The thing is, I dont care if I can’t kill them quickly, that’s what tanks are about. But why the fuck can they chonk 700 health or so with one fucking hit?

The main mistake riot keeps making, is adding in "tank items" that give more damage based on tankiness. The game, all of it's champions, and all of its items should be balanced around tankiness or damage being a CHOICE. It should be a concious and forced choice for players to either do more damage or be more tanky, rather than having the ability to do both. It wouldn't matter as much if a champ is unkillable, if they aren't able to output any damage. If anything tank items should have something like "-20% damage done to champions" on them, that way it's a trade-off instead of a win-win. There needs to be class identity where tanks feel like tanks, damage dealers feel like damage dealers, and supports feel like supports. And if, for example, a tank wants to build damage, then his tankiness should suffer in exchange. Items like Jak'sho and Heartsteel completely remove that decision making and class identity.
that -20% damage penalty would be fine if it wouldnt completely make actual tanks useless against the real problems which are juggernauts, bruisers and fighters in lane
maybe not if it would proc when more than 1 enemy or ally is nearby, like hullbreaker

Stop pretending tanks are the best with this item, just slap it on Diana and she murders, Sion and Cho lost winrate with this item despite how much it seems like they should use it. They both have a hard time stacking it

isnt heartsteel one of the weakest tank items, like i havent heard anyone ever complain about this, it looks broken when you scale it through a long drawn out game ofc it will look broken, but every maxhealth damage item shreds through it, divine / Botrk remove those types of high health tanks from the game. Jaksho is far worse, even frostfire is underrated
