I saw Bill play a solo show here in Tulsa last night. It was an incredibly beautiful and powerful experience. As others have noted in the comments, the world is a better place because of Bill's music. He played a couple of the tunes that will also be on this new album. Can't wait to hear them with vocals added! Thanks, Bill.
Bill's long, stetched weeping tone, the neck bending. The soft string attack, really one of a kind. His playing takes me to a different world. Also his use of loops, forward and in reverse, harmonics.. Really Bill, you are a true visionary! Thanks so much for all these gems..
I saw Bill Frisell live just once in Manhattan at a jazz club playing solo with a looper and a pedal or two in the late Eighties. He is always reflective in his music as well as his speech. And experimental in his approach to music. Fine player.
Because Bill exists, the world seems a little better...
Oh man, just never stop doing music, Bill. The world needs You, more than ever.
I've been to three of his concerts in the Pacific Northwest. Always wonderful and surprising. Such a dear, humble, exquisitely talented man.
im so glad you are still making music vital, thank you

The Mr. Rogers of Jazz!
Bill, you are blessed. I heard the music last night in Ardmore. I am blessed. Thank you for opening your hearts to the possibilities.
I'll bet that if I was to spend an afternoon hanging out with Bill, that my blood pressure would drop significantly. Such a chill guy.
Welcome to Blue Note! Magnifico! Thank you for your contribution of some beautiful music!

Open to sound.
It happened Bill, because you are a singular, original voice on the guitar!
Bill Frisell's music swims through my soul.
So much soul and spirit with this guy in a time when all his about scales and technique . Hope Bill could live forever .
Bill is the man, he has the right musical approach for sure- combine it all!
This may be the most words that I have heard Bill utter
