She is such a talent. My wife and I saw her open up for Eric Johnson last year and she was fantastic. Her stories in between songs, the names of the guitars... then to see her out meeting people at her merch booth was too cool. Class act. Wish her huge success.
learned so much more about her today than i knew in the last two years that i have been following here ! wish her much luck and love in life and music ... cant wait to see her on her own n maryland ....
Arielle- you are a breath of fresh air in music!! I’m so thrilled to discover your talent and passion. Keep it up - I can’t wait to see you ascend to even greater heights!
I think I'd go for a Squier Bullet Mustang HH with coil split instead if a 12" radius & 24" scale length was what I would end up with. Or just do a Fender Mustang Player with P90's if I were spending MSRP money and had to spend that much to end up with a 9.5" radius & 24" scale length. I mean it's $ 662.50 British pounds (globally). This guitar is too weird & all over the place for concept. The headstock isn't even authentic from the original prototype. I was kind of expecting a unicorn horn ? The original Arielle has a 25.3 scale length, which is Ovation Acoustic scale length. I mean this guitar is definitely the last one that will get shut down for being a patent infringement. For unique, I'd just get an Airline '59 3P DLX with a Bigsby for functional bling. I really don't see the point of the triangular pickguard thing behind the bridge, unless it's for protecting the finish when it's being strung. The Tibetan thing on the bottom of the guitar, uggghhhh, another commercialization of spirituality that isn't real. Reminds me of a scene in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where she rants on about spiritual tattoos.
I saw her open for Eric Johnson. She joined him for several songs and totally held her own, it was great. Sings great, plays piano and is a great guitar player.
Met her at a show on her last tour! It was my birthday 2 days prior and she took time out of her show to get everyone at the show including her to sing happy birthday to me ! It’s a moment I’ll always remember !
WOW, What a stunner, She knew every one (Well almost every one) and Boy, she can play and sing real good, maybe we might see her in New Zealand in the next couple of yrs
I only “discovered” her bc SHE liked a video of MY playing once on Instagram, and I just kinda clicked through and then realized what an honor that really was! 😳 lol Beautiful soul, this one, and she really communicates that beautiful soul in the music! Wishing her all the best!
If you all haven't yet watched the live video of her playing "Pretty Little Adriana " with Vince, just pause right now and go listen. Amazing playing, killer sound and totally sick guitar. Thanks, Captain, for turning us on to her!
What an amazing Human being she is!!! Definitely not your typical celebrity! Between humility and the awesome energy and good will she projects! I would love to see her playing live... I wonder if she ever plays Germany? Especially south western Germany , wink wink Arielle ;) there are so many available venues in Stuttgart! I would definitely go see her in concert!! When you find an amazing artist like she is, these are the folks that need to be supported. Down to earth good people with a beautiful craft. I hope you come down this way Arielle. I'm sharing this video to my facebook page. I come from a musical family, and most of them are all over the US. I'm sure you'll play near someone in my family. I love the story behind your guitars. I too prefer the short scale. I'll be watching for them. Bob in Germany
Re: EVH , He had one volume on the frankenstrat with a 'tone knob' on it ( no tone pot ), he figured turning volume up and down changed the tone anyway .He also reversed his toggle switch on the EVH Musicman guitars so that 'up' was bridge and 'down' was neck
I can't believe I never heard of this talented young lady before. My only excuse (and not a very good one) is I live on the East Coast. Thanks for the introduction, Lee!
It doesn't happen to me very often, but sometimes I see someone like Arielle and yearn to meet and know them: people who come over as intelligent, sensible, intriguing, humourous, curious, lively, grounded and totally devoid of BS.
She is talking about a lot of bands from when I grew up first Marry Spender now Arielle So I live in a cave. I love her playing just like Marry very pleasing to the ear not someone trying to get in as many notes per minute. Love it. Freddy one of the best voices ever...I lost my dad at 45 I can't even think about loosing him when I was 14. I keep stopping to comment because of short term memory. Vince Gill can play and he has a off the charts collection of guitars. The most important part is he is a very caring guy. When I was a police officer we were at a very young policers funeral. It was the saddest funeral that I have been to (mike a long story short the young officer was shot and killed with his service weapon by his 3 to 5 year old son) Vince Gill came in and sang a song that he wrote about his brother passing away. It was a bad moment but a good one to have him come do that then everyone respecting Vice as not a star but just someone that came to the funeral. Vince is a good guy.
How in the actual fuck did I miss this?! I'm a die hard andertons fan and this (along with the beautiful track) just passed me by... She has talent, charisma and humility. Best of luck to her. Edit: FUCK! She also knows her gear, plays divided by and 3rd power and builds guitars with imaginary dudes!!!
That movie theme you were talking about already exist just not with guitars its with fighting .. the movie fight club ..lol also Arielle is badass all the way around!!
@Ariel - You are correct. Living in Hollywood by yourself is a bad idea. I lived by myself in an apartment directly across La Salle Ave. from the "Pretty Woman" hooker hotel for about 14 months. It can get wacky in Hollywood. A human surviving Hollywood for any length of residence deserves some kind of award, a small plaque or a badge or a small, hidden tattoo. lol
Was interesting - and I'm actually interviewing her next week so great research material - but man, I wish he'd stop interrupting her and breaking the flow of the stories.
I feel with you, my mother was also into Queen and father into Pink Floyd ... And from 12 yeara on I really wnated guitar and the answer was NO (I dont get the reason even today), so I started on guitar after beeing 30 ...
I believe the story has already - in broad strokes at least - made its way to silver screens around the world under the direction of David Fincher. It's killer. It's Fight Club.
She and John Mayer are the two most important guitar players alive in terms of making the guitar relevant and influential. Didn’t know this interview was coming and couldn’t be more pleased.
Nice lady, great tone. On a separate note, not to bring a downer on things. Lee, I think you should get that cough looked at. You've had it for quite a while now. Sorry for dragging things down
This was so good. Great Arielle! I can now see Captain Meets Brian May. This HAS to happen!
With 6 gunned AC30s in that little room. Hell yes.
Have you considered that Brian May not show up?
She is the real thing♥♥♥🎶🎸
Great interview! Good to get the inside track on what works well with TwoTone!
She is such a talent. My wife and I saw her open up for Eric Johnson last year and she was fantastic. Her stories in between songs, the names of the guitars... then to see her out meeting people at her merch booth was too cool. Class act. Wish her huge success.
Iv meet her and played her guitar. She’s a really lovely person.
learned so much more about her today than i knew in the last two years that i have been following here !
wish her much luck and love in life and music ... cant wait to see her on her own n maryland ....
Arielle- you are a breath of fresh air in music!! I’m so thrilled to discover your talent and passion. Keep it up - I can’t wait to see you ascend to even greater heights!
Sick guitar, damn. It's like Brian Mays Red Special had a child with a firebird.
That was my first thought.

So enjoyable. I need to watch this several more times to get all the tech references. She's a keeper!
Great to see such a young person getting inspiration from the sounds of way back when.
I saw her open for Eric Johnson. She joined him for several songs and totally held her own, it was great. Sings great, plays piano and is a great guitar player.
me two and in a few weeks will be in maryland
The Captain Truly gives us so much! Thanks , great interview.
She is just great. She has so much passion for guitar that it’s hard to not love her.
💙💙
What a great player and so mature. Great interview
You both looked like you really enjoyed this. I love Arielle's sound and will definitely check her out.
I’ve not come across Arielle before. I like her, she seems like good people. Great video, thanks.
Met her at a show on her last tour! It was my birthday 2 days prior and she took time out of her show to get everyone at the show including her to sing happy birthday to me ! It’s a moment I’ll always remember !
She seems to be like someone cool to hang out with and talk about music for hours
You wish buddy!... Yeah me too.. 😂
What a delightful spirit! Great singer and player too. Nice interview, Lee.
WOW, What a stunner, She knew every one (Well almost every one) and Boy, she can play and sing real good, maybe we might see her in New Zealand in the next couple of yrs
Proof that music keeps you young.
I only “discovered” her bc SHE liked a video of MY playing once on Instagram, and I just kinda clicked through and then realized what an honor that really was! 😳 lol Beautiful soul, this one, and she really communicates that beautiful soul in the music! Wishing her all the best!
Saw her with Eric Johnson. She’s fantastic. And she was really sweet after the show.
Just AWESOME ! 💙🎸🎶
If you all haven't yet watched the live video of her playing "Pretty Little Adriana " with Vince, just pause right now and go listen. Amazing playing, killer sound and totally sick guitar. Thanks, Captain, for turning us on to her!
More interviews like this please
1986 Wembley.... I was there too!
Arielle seems such a super-cool artist - really enjoyed this...
That was a great video. Arielle was great.
I love her music!!!
So I am a bit behind to say the least, but if you look these up now, you only get the blue/red option. The headstock is also different
So pleased to have seen this
This was very entertaining. I don’t even know how to put it in words. She has a great sense of self. Lee was on point today also.
Thank you!!!
I really enjoyed this interview. Arielle is such a cool girl, and an awesome player too 👍😁
What a great video! Really enjoyed!
She's a Yes fan. Badass
The old TC Electronic chorus pedal is one of the sweetest.
Enjoyed the trem skill on the outro - it reminded me of Richard Thompson's "Sweet Talker" album.
I love her
man i loved this interview with Patrick Yat....i mean Arielle :)
What an amazing Human being she is!!! Definitely not your typical celebrity! Between humility and the awesome energy and good will she projects! I would love to see her playing live... i want that guitar with the finish that she's holding - is it available or custom?
Peavey Delta Blues has a 1-15 version Captain . What a great interview !
I can't believe I never heard of this talented young lady before. My only excuse (and not a very good one) is I live on the East Coast. Thanks for the introduction, Lee!
Very cool, Arielle is a superb musician! Would love to see The Captain meets Chelsea Constable!
Constable (and her little sister Grace!) are fabulous musicians, that whole Suhr thing notwithstanding :)
It doesn't happen to me very often, but sometimes I see someone like Arielle and yearn to meet and know them: people who come over as intelligent, sensible, intriguing, humourous, curious, lively, grounded and totally devoid of BS.
Great job Arielle! Dig your sound and style.will be looking into your stuff.
what a killer guitar player! girls who rock ROCK!!!
I still have my 89 Queen Fan Club jacket ... I can fit into it too ... Good interview, off to check out her stuff ...
I instantly recognised "The Brian May" pickups.
I'm swooning.
Great interview Cap'in!
and the bass player is from NEWARK! Also bit quite weird meeting her at school and then seeing her on my favourite yt channel
This girl is Eric Johnson and VINCE GILL approved!

What a lovely girl and amazing guitarist......
Dio was a brilliant singer, so underrated!
Her guitar is super cool :D
Yes...what is it?
Sam Fosdick Custom made
They already made that movie about split personalities... It's called Fight Club. Love Arielle, btw, glad you guys had her on!
I've never seen her before. She seems reallly cool.

Had to go check her music, because
:D

Edit: FUCK! She also knows her gear, plays divided by and 3rd power and builds guitars with imaginary dudes!!!
the captains rhythm keeping skills at the beginning are questionable lol
Most of the caps skills are questionable. But we love him regardless.
lol
Awful
She should team up with Posen for an "Under the Sea" tour!
nailed it
Maybe host all gigs on roofs and give out free samples of washing detergent?
Agreed. And Joey Landreth should join them for a couple jams...
She's one heck of a songwriter too! Her albums have all sorts of great songs on them, not just guitar-oriented tracks...
Great interview! Love guitar! Peddle board city at her feet! Can i have?✌️😎
Borrow for sure !
Arielle 😁 already made a big space for it on my floor ✌️
Great interview
She hits the Pete-like notes haha!
It's Arielle! Aaaaaaaaaaaa
Great video. She's hilarious!
Jamming over rush's The Necromancer for the outro?! i approve
She is really great. The first thing I thought when I saw the switches on the guitar was „there is some Brian Mayish thing going on“
Rock on Sis... Great Guitars, Lee's questions were a weird sometimes, but great interview...
24:30
"Hmmm" a very real and much appreciated response to The Captains seemingly dismissive attitude.
That movie theme you were talking about already exist just not with guitars its with fighting .. the movie fight club ..lol also Arielle is badass all the way around!!
Captain meets KK Downing! That will be awesome!
Cap! I totally agree I don't touch a guitar I love because they'll never be exactly the same
I should clarify by touch I mean change... I play the eff out of em;)
If this girl was on That Pedal Show, they would be honking that horn every minute.
She's smart, interesting and cute too - :-) Good stuff Lee!
Yay! Chicago Bears colors!
Brian May is going to sell a signature Arielle model. So cool. Good thing she didn't use a Gibson body style... Phew.
The scale of that neck is crazy against her hand size!
Agree ref Queen - one vision tour in Manchester '86
Pete! I can hear you giggling in the background, you beautiful goofball.
@Ariel - You are correct. Living in Hollywood by yourself is a bad idea. I lived by myself in an apartment directly across La Salle Ave. from the "Pretty Woman" hooker hotel for about 14 months. Good Grief that was insane
Was interesting - and I'm actually interviewing her next week so great research material - but man, I wish he'd stop interrupting her and breaking the flow of the stories.
Can you guys do a Digitech Drop review ?
25:30 yeah that sounds like Uli.
I feel with you, my mother was also into Queen and father into Pink Floyd ... And from 12 yeara on I really wnated guitar and the answer was NO (I dont get the reason even today), so I started on guitar after beeing 30 ...
Scales and affects wow,but she does play well, very well
This gal is adorable, plays very well, nice guitars and cuter than a speckled pup ! Wonder does she hav an older sister ?
I believe the story has already - in broad strokes at least - made its way to silver screens around the world under the direction of David Fincher.
It's killer.
It's Fight Club.
... aaaand I'm gonna spend the next hour watching an interview with somebody I've never heard of before.
I hope you do. She's quite amazing.
She and John Mayer are the two most important guitar players alive in terms of making the guitar relevant and influential. Didn’t know this interview was coming and couldn’t be more pleased.

Karlos 1969 it’s ok - it’s gone now!! I just had it for about 4 weeks after NAMM. Cheers for your concern
@@andertons Nice one Capt. Thanks for the reply
The dreaded nammthrax haha
Arielle should visit Dan and get a gigrig for that pedal board.
Please do a Captain meets Jason Becker.
@15:10 , does Lee's mom play really good guitar?
