Hi Mimi! I saw this video about a year ago and proceeded to make 5 bags, all with different fabric print and weight as you said and gave them away to the ladies in my family and I’m now known as the sewing DIY queen of my family and I have your amazing tutorials to thank for them!! No matter how many other bags i make, I will always come back to this video because it is simply the best. Love you!! xoxo Ai Liyah

I'm a beginner sewer. But I just made my first clutch from your tutorial a few weeks ago, it turned out ok, a few stitching mistakes. So I'm going to try again this week.
Your tutorial is great and easy to understand. Thanks Ms. Mimi. 😊

This video is excellent! I love your step by step instructions, so good. I always try a new item with scrap material so I can work out the bugs before I move to the real thing. I didn't have the heavy fusible interface so mine didn't quite come out the exactly the same. Also, my zipper ends weren't as clean as yours were, however, I know the next one I make will be amazing because now I now know where my weak points are. Thank you for being a great teacher!

great tutorial as are your others! my question is - I like the effect of the metal zipper. But how do you finiish off the excess metal zip? It is easy to do with nylon zip but as you noted you cannot sew over the metal zipper. Do you leave the metal zipper uncut and just tuck in between the outer and lining fabric? thanks and continued success! that is cool.
