sri lanka and others didnt attack maldives. in 1780 some unknown people came with a ship and try to invade but some one killed all of them and in 1941 during ww2 british came to maldives for only to make a air base and british people helped maldives . the air base was turned into a air port today in addu city and in 1988 some people wanted to become maldives president so they sectretly bought guns and they started attacking the capital city but theres no police only military stoped the small war and i live in maldives so i know the whole history
