Drew, when you start never use more than 25% of ur troops when taking free land, because in the early game everyone will have low numbers and if you dont spend alot and get alot of troops, you can easily take over your neighbors
Does that work on factions too, tho? Often if you do this you get locked out by your allies depending on where you spawn…

Thx for the tips
I play by sending troops per Evey 100 I gain. For example at the start I send 200. Then I wait for 300 and send 300 and continue to do this. And only use 20 percent while doing this. Doing this will make sure you have maximum area and troops
@@ldelgg it will work if you spawn away from your allies, if somebody spawns right next to you, you are probably better off leaving

Plus: Navy invasions are VERY efficient, when you and the enemy are even, use the sea/rivers
navy invasions are less efficient, the land you take is just in one spot instead of the whole border and you even have to pay a higher attack tax for boats

Here's some tips: don't send half of your soldiers just send 10% of them at the start but when you pass 2000 soldiers send 30% or 40%

Awful advice but also good as it depends the situation your in because of your desperate and need to defeat someone equal your strength if you send 10% your gonna lose 10% of your troops giving them an opertunity to attack

I like your point about mountains. One of the most important land features, in terms of defense, are mountains. Like, rivers do make a difference, but it's not too hard to cross a river. If the river is defended on the other side, in real life, then it's very difficult or even impossible. A mountain though is pretty much an impenetrable land barrier, even to this day, whether the mountains are being defended or not. At best, you could get some well trained mountaineering soldiering over a mountain range without too much trouble, but not a whole army (at least not without being noticed, in modern times anyway).
Like, you can throw together some pontoon bridges even in modern times, and if you do it right you could even get armored vehicles across a river. But there's absolutely no way you can get armored vehicles across a mountain range without a large enough pass through, or unless the mountains are low enough to fly over and your vehicles are small enough to be airlifted. Even then, still not ideal.

When you are at the point when it's just you and one other gaint country, you should use half of your military for the first attack, then make your military smaller again. When you attack other countries you will see a bar showing you the soldiers you have attacking them, you will see a plus sign, click it when your soldier bar goes to about half or less. It will send more soldiers and you will win easily.

You attack after the counter at the top goes 2 ticks up from the middle, you do around 25% in the first cycle and then you move it to 45% and attack twice and then move it to 55% and attack until you have no free land left to grab and have to attack bots, for bots o reccomend to send 10-15% of ur troops, but only one at a time
