Simple Minds - This Fear of Gods meets Alien

The excellent Ripley panic scene where she's trying to save herself (and Jonesy) from the Alien onboard the Nostromo while the ship is in self destruct countdown with Simple Minds "This Fear of Gods" as the soundtrack.
Alien is a masterpiece in film making. Intense, claustrophobic, atmospheric, and unforgettable, especially for the "chestburster" scene. A modern classic. One of my all time favourite movies from a young age. Add to this the Simple Minds song, This Fear of Gods, with haunting vocals and intense instrumentals that add to the atmosphere and underlines our deepest fears, and you get matched together two masterpieces from the same era.

Ah the pulsating rhythm & groove of one of my fav Minds tracks,fits the classic Alien film rather well.
