Real nice piece of instrument and I would do something to my standart tele starting to replace the modern Bridge to the old ashtray model to get that vibrating fuzz and change the pick ups to vintage style... That's a project to keep in mind
Err...unless that thing came with the modern wiring harness installed, the 'tone' knob was doing nothing. Except in the 'bridge' position, where it blends in the neck pickup.
I don't get why they do a Nocaster reissue but don't wire it like a Nocaster.... In my mind, a Nocaster is more than just a missing line on a decal. That blend function is iconic to Broadcasters and Nocasters. I wired up a custom barncaster to the specs of a Broadcaster/Nocaster and it is extremely unique.
@@marcospintor1333 My point is that, if you are going to get a reissue and you want the modern wiring, why get a nocaster reissue? The Nocaster reissue should be for people who want a Nocaster. Otherwise it's not really a reissue. It's just a '54 tele with out a telecaster decal, right?
It is wired like a Nocaster, although the capacitor they used is hardly bassy at all. The reviewer was fooling himself when he was adjusting the 'tone' knob in neck and middle positions.
Undoubtedly the most underrated gear channel on UA-cam. I absolutely love Jim's playing!
Like father, like son. It is great to see Joe’s son playing so nicely. Go Satch!
Came by for the great Tele ..... was amazed ... stayed for the great player ..... nice stuff !
The Nocaster pickups sound great. Have a set sitting right here, going into a Sonic blue tele, with a 4 way switch. Tele heaven here I come.
This is what a telecaster was meant to sound like 👍
My local GC had a Custom Shop '51 Nocaster for $1700. It went fast. That was quiet a deal.

Hi, what height did you set them? just installed the same. They sound a little dull to me. Yours sound good.

Strelnikov they don’t do that because they know it would be annoying for everyone to change it back to normal right after they had bought it.

I agree Custom shop version is wired like a Nocaster. I picked one up today
