D&D Road Tour Ep. 9 - Why did I get home cooking at a burger joint?

HIH Burger Inn has been serving the locals in Murray Kentucky since 1957. They have to be doing something right to be around that long.
We walked in and I got the idea we were the only "non-locals" in the place but we were welcomed with open arms! You might think that I would HAVE to get a burger at the HIH Burger Inn, but as I looked around, everyone else was eating the home cooking! So...what did I order, the home cooking and boy am I glad I did. Pot roast that melts in your mouth, deep seasoned green beans, and Mac & Cheese that must be some kind of magic. My wife ordered the daily special of chicken tenders that were hand breaded and SOOOOO juicy.
Don't get me wrong, this is no fast food restaurant but once you order, don't blink and your food will already be on your table. Arriving fresh and hot, I couldn't wait to dig in and dig in I did. Everything I had was worth writing home about.
Just when I think it can't get any better, we have three different flavors of homemade cookies to try. Those could be some of the most flavorful and freshest cookies I have ever put in my mouth.
If you are ever in Murray, Kentucky you have to find the HIH Burger Inn and sample some of the best home cooking you'll ever have!
