I am a Japanese who loves Celtic music, and I found this song on Spotify and learned that it is an arrangement of a famous song. I love the singing voice and the instrumentation, but I especially like the sound of the uilleann pipes. I am grateful for the miracle of finding such a wonderful arrangement of the song.
Does this song have a specific Irish step to dance to? If so, where is it placed within the track? Thank you, and I love your music. You are just as good on your own as you were with Celtic Woman. Also, what type of dance would this be… Jig or hornpipe?
Ironically this song is supposed to be a lament for Ireland. That's why it never sounded quite right to me until I heard it played slow and soft by another group. The lyrics don't match the tone here at all.
@@stevienichol1008 Thank you so much for educating me further! This is the one I heard that changed my view on it, if you're curious: ua-cam.com/video/yt0Av4jqbn4/v-deo.html
Go hálainn a Orla. Is maith liom sin, go raibh maith agat. Le do aistriúchán ag an am seo tá an abairt saghas aisteach, athreofainn an t-abairt dá mbeinn thú.

The playing is lovely
The singing is out of this world 🌍
But the dancing,”the dancing “
Heineken never reached those parts ❤️

Why does this not have more views.
I was wondering myself.
@@simonidastankovic2627 Me too.
Because people have different preference when it comes to music. But I really enjoyed this one. It is soothing and magical. Love this.
She's the kind of woman dreams are made of.
Tell her !
Nice version, although very fast...
Orla's tender and etheric voice is a pure magic from another World.
90% of the camera shots should've focused on the pipes during his solo.
I LOVE IRELAND!
THE EMERALD ISLE!
GRÁ MO CHROÍ!
GRETINGS FROM BRASIL!
MY BELOVED LAND!

Plenty of bouncy tunes the daft lass could sing. This was written as a lament for the fallen 'Heros' at Culloden.

Happy St. Patrick's Day still from San Diego!!! Wish I could understand Gaelic...
Sha sang it beautifully and she's beautiful too.
Watching every day for a week,am I the only one who loves ❤️❤️❤️ the little dancing ?
I also love 💕 the “gentle” vibe .
Very beautiful melody, I hear it from Chiapas, Mexico
Is a blessing to me have the opportunity to listen her so beautiful voice. Thank you Mrs Órla. Respectfully from Lisbon 🇵🇹🇮🇪
Cannot hear the harp. Can just about hear the bagpipes earlier on, but that is all. Poor recording perhaps.
Is there a step dance for this song? Thank you for your music, and for once being part of Celtic Woman. 0:03
*Flashbacks to orla in Celtic women singing this with the girls*
Always sing this song whenever I feel stressed out & tired. Wrong pronunciation, though, I'm Indonesian. 😄
Greatest Song I've ever listened.... Love from Karachi Pakistan... Nayeem Katiyar
Good to listen to. :)
Oh my goodness, I would love to meet Orla Fallon.
This is the most beautiful version of the song I have heard. Love from the Philippines..
The tone of this song so wrong in the context this old Irish song. The tone is completely unsuitable for the lyrics.
I feel like i belong with ireland
Holy shit. Where do i find more like this?
This song is medicine for my soul
Mine also.
Me 3

Extraordinary.
This is a very good song. There are many variations. I rather like the ones that emphasize the sad content of the text.
