I miss the old ranch main house set - it felt big, the sitting room to the large living room with the piano in the back to the minibar and fireplace, the stairs going upstairs and the times we got to see the large bedrooms like Victoria and The master bedroom… & the times we saw the dining room and victor's office at the ranch. I think when Kyle lived there it was hinted that there was a theatre where he played video games (both at ranch and at the Abbot mansion). Another episode had a helicopter land offscreen at the ranch... The new one just feels too small…

I loved, loved the David Kimbell story. One of the greatest villains ever in daytime tv. Michael Corbett was terrific. Just a bit of Where Are They Now, Michael has been selling real estate these days if I'm not mistaken, with occasional appearances on TV talking about real estate. Not sure how much acting he still does.
I worked on this show in the late 90's. This is one of Eric's less demanding days .. i guess becuase E! had cameras rolling. It's really fun when he throws everyone off the set in one of his fits.
I worked on All My Children in the late '80s. The only diva I can truly remember was the new guy hired to play Will Cortland (both he and the first terrible actress to play Dixie Cortland were fired not long after they started). He is now a weatherman on one of the network morning shows. It was a lot of fun because the daytime soaps were still hugely popular. It was the summer they killed off Jesse Hubbard and fans were furious. I always remember Susan Lucci being the utmost professional and she knew everybody's name on the staff and crew.
Michael Corbett made a great David kimbel I really like the way he was a villain of all time great then when he was he was so good-looking to I had such a crush on him when I handsome stud he was. Great handsome awesome actor

You are so right about that. Y&R is not what it used to be and that's why I stopped watching it over 10 years ago.
Not sure if many people know this, but Eric played a race car driver in the Disney movie Herbie the Love Bug. He also had a small roll in Titanic.
