Oof, yes ma'm! Ever since I started working out, I went from washing my hair every 2-1 week, to washing my hair every 4-5 days. Refreshing every 2 days (with water and a lightweight spray conditioner that I can't use to detangle and didn't want to throw away bc it cost). Deep conditioning 1x weekly. Just girl. Yes. But I have noticed that it takes far less time to do my hair now that I wash it more often. I went from 2 hours to style my hair to about 20 minutes due to experience, learning my hair, and washing more often. Also, less shedding.
These were really good points! I also take my hair down from a bun immediately after working out, so that it doesn't reset in the shape of my pineapple (hopefully I make sense) lol
Thank you! Theres nt enough content on this. I workout 5 days a week and the sweat is ridiculous and my hair-always a mess. Thank you sis will definitely b incorporating these tips
This came at the perfect time, I’ve been wanting to start working out but maintaining my natural hair is so much harder when i work out bc I sweat SO much 😩
Thank you so much for making this video bc I find that I'm doing my hair a lot more frequently since I've started working out and I really didn't think that I would have too but like you said the humidity in the gym is horrible and my shingle set is not Happy
this video rly is just on time cus i was just thinking to myself yesterday that my hair rly does hold me back from working out like i want to, i simply sweat too much when i go on runs. it’s nice to see someone being transparent about how it isn’t always easy to maintain the curls through the workout sweat😂
Since i've gotten into working out i now have to wash my hair weekly :( but i try to counteract the dryness by doing hot oil treatments every week as well. it does make me sad that i can barely stretch my wash and go's 3-4 days now before it just looks too frizzy
Thank you so much for your awesome video and your great tips. I have curly hair type 3B and I didn't even know Nexus had a curly line, thank you for letting me know I'm a big fan of Nexus! Thank you so much for sharing and I will keep in mind all of the tips do's and don'ts and your video. God bless and stay safe, 🙏🏽🙌🏾🤗

Hello Jewellianna. I'm a blk man and I wanted to express that you look very beautiful. Your hair looks great and awesome job getting in a workout. Be well and safe.
How do you combat being sore? Sorry, I know this is about hair while working out, but I want to start working out at least 3 days a week, but the soreness from day 1 always has me so stiff after. But I was told the best time to work out is when you’re sore, because it takes 2-3 days for your muscles to respond to the exercise you did, and in order to grow the muscle to have to “tear” them so they grow back thicker. So working out while those muscles are already sore gives you the best results.
Shit my question is how to feel more sore 😂. . I’ll be putting in the work and barely feel sore the next day & I’m like wtf . There’s no way I have to workout even harder than I already did 😭
Can you make a video on your nutrition, Im starting to workout and I know Im going to have to inc my caloric intake. Do you incorp whey protein in your diet? I feel like I should prob email via your fitness page.
I hawe natural hair and i heard that you should not Wear a bun very often, but this is like my only choice sińce i have training every other day. I hope this vodeo will help me
I redo my hair mid week. I workout 6 days a week and I just simply wear my curls out because I don’t sweat too much even though I work out hard. I just know I’m not going pass 3 to 4 days with my hair and expect it to get older day by day.
I have literally been trying to find a good way to maintain my hair while working out. I swear sooo much cause I do a lot of cardio and it’s not easy to keep my hair looking good at all

Try stretching after each workout! It helps
Maybe supplements may help. I heard some people drink aloe vera mixed with water/ electrolytes and that seems to help
For for the late reply, thank you, I’ll try stretching and supplements.
