You should totally learn this as a beginner. It's not very fast and and has very nice bends that will train your ear well. Also a lot of jumping around. And if you like the solo, then even if it has 100s of shred licks, you should learn. Always play what you want to play, not what you need to.
That slide has already been marked in the tabs. It's an airplane slide. You just begin the slide somewhere above 14th fret, playing it without a clear beginning note. You may watch this as reference: ua-cam.com/users/shortses2W5u3b20o. Hope this could help you : )
I'd really love to learn this, but I'm a bit of a beginner. Do you have any advice or tips on where I should start? Also, I'm not familiar with this kind of tabs. Is there a resource you know of where I could learn more about them? This is the best cover of this solo I've seen so far. Truly awesome work
It's important to learn techniques like bending, sliding and hitting etc. Once you figure these skills out, you can pay attention to your speed to play fast and steady. Then this solo would be easy for you!😁
I believe Emma uses she/her But Emma usually plays rythm and Jessy Caron plays lead guitar and bass He plays it in the live garage version so i figure he played it on the record aswell
I fuck with this monumentally
Looking at this at 3:26 am while studying and was amazed. This made my night and convinced more to try and learn this.

You should learn it! Don’t let him discourage like that. Even if it’s not perfect playing songs you enjoy is great motivation and keeps you playing:)
@@goiaadiyes he should, he can see it as a final test after practicing

Hey, I just uploaded a video in the form of a playlist with songs similar to Men I Trust in case you want to listen to songs of that style 🎵😊
awesome cover! is there any chance you have a full pdf of the tabs you used?
Really sorry about this. I only recorded this part, not the full song. And I seemed to forget where I've put the tabs...🥲
omg this is perfect i need to know what effect you used ;DDDD
I used the fuzz, tubescreamer, Plexi Ampsim, EQ and reverb modules in Guitar Rig 5 to make this tone.
@@yam37lu thank you i love your videos :DDDDD

this guy plays it better than Emmanuelle Proulx himself
I believe Emma uses she/her

What pentatonic scale/s /box does this solo use?
It's not only pentatonic scales, added with many other notes.
