FYI, as the username might imply: I was the person who posted the Ascension link to UnFiction, back in 2013. The website I run about ARGs has an open tipline, and at the time I would post most of the tips that came in on the UnFiction forums, particularly if there wasn't enough information for a full article at the time. Sadly, that's likely another dead-end: I looked up the initial email and while there was an email address attached to the tip, the submission form I use allows for fake emails, and I'm fairly confident I was provided with a fake email in this case.
The ARG having no end makes sense. Ascensionism is a cult tells its members that there is always another ascension and that it's their duty to ascend, but there won't be an end to this ascension, because it's just a tool used to manipulate them. The same way with this ARG's endgame, we will always look for it but we would never find it because chances are it never existed in the first place. The game itself is a pretty good allegory for cults. It's stupid, and looks fun, yet deep down it's just a ploy to try and manipulate you, but at the end of the day it's just a game and you shouldn't take it seriously.
Actually if you think about it, every day someone finds something new or breaks the limit of the human nature. A lot of people in the past even couldn't imagine something like our success at the moment. Every single person is trying to do their best at the things that they like to do and after them in the future, other will use their knowledge and upgrade their work. We are doing it constantly, we are evolving not only physically, but even psychologically and we don't stop. Yes, it's impossible to reach the end, but it's the only way to survive in the universe. We don't know so much things about everything, it's literally scary to think about it and the main purpose of the human is to understand itself and everything that is in the universe or even more, who knows? Even if it's impossible, at least we are trying. You know what they say, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
Honestly, to finally hear the book end of Kanye Quest is just like a letting go of a held breath. 6 years I've been waiting DESPERATE for someone to figure it out. And to find out a literal comfort channel of mine has done it, well, you can't blame me for being so relieved.
idk man, there's too many unanswered questions still. like how was kanye quest uploaded BEFORE the unfiction thread even started, yet they still had all the same very specific passwords (jagtai, petunze, eyen etc)? also people have talked to nick lyons a lot throughout the years and they have very different answers for everything than was given here. before he would always completely deny any involvement in kanye quest at all, and if the answer was simply that it was a fan of their music I'm sure they would have explained that back then.

Stories told by people can change overtime, and now it finally came to a halt and information finally got driven out wholeheartedly. Especially when in the beginning, it wasn't gaining as much traction. Unlikely, but also possible.
@Silphet I was thinking the same thing. Also that we only know the screename used by the actual creator of the game and nothing else about him. Until we talk to HIM and get a solid answer about all this I hardly think anything at all is really cleared up. Aside from confirmation that the creator of acensionism and the game aren't the same person.

It's intentional designed to look like a hokey religion from the outside, but it's actually one of the most organized cults in the world

Remember your fnaf theory for your 10th Anniversary? Well I Recently watched the Security Breach trailer again and...I don't wanna say this but you were wrong about Foxy not being in the game. He is in the trailer as an Animatronic. If you go back to the trailer again and go to 1:04 on the time stamp, look in the background you will find foxy in a pirate outfit.

But, I would say that Dream's influence over his primarily young girl audience is not well-used as he doesn't set strict boundaries often enough.
