Power comes from a very efficient 2.0 liter turbocharged I4 putting out 259HP, with a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic transmission. Amenities include dual power leather seats with heating, in-dash infotainment with Sirius/XM, Navigation, and Bluetooth Phone and Audio, AppleCarPlay, Backup Camera, Dual Electronic Climate Control, and more. 19 inch rims with fresh tires all around. Found it! Saw this parked on the side of your lot in another review, so I looked it up on your channel. After three BMW coupes, I bought a 2012 GS (as you said, another German design based on the Opel) with smaller, black Momo wheels. The chromed 20's look great, but I'm sick of issues with low profile tires that plagued the BMWs. When it launched available only with a stick and its beautiful lines, I fell in love with the car and looked extensively for a nice example when I outgrew the 2007 335i and the repair bills started mounting after 155K miles. My first car ever was an '89 Grand Am SE with a five speed and an Isuzu turbo. Black over tan, with black wheels and just a hint of tasteful chrome. Had so much fun in that thing, my friends all called it the Knight Rider sedan and it was fast for its day. My GS is its spiritual successor, and you just know if Pontiac survived they would've put out a G6 much like this. It's easily the best handling front drive sedan I ever owned, certainly less stodgy than the '83 beige Regal with front cloth bench seats I drove in college!

Bought a used (Carmax) 2012 Regal GS turbo. I was so geeked about that car! It was midsized, comfortable and had all the right features including a 6 speed manual transmission! Unfortunately, that transmission had to be replaced within a few months after I bought it (Carmax paid) and the second trans didn't seem right, either. I never shifted hard or raced it and I have driven several manual transmission cars over the years. I sold it within 6 months.
We looked at this and ended uo with the Buick Regal TourX, the Same German-made Opel design with the 250HP Ecotec and standard all-wheel drive. Sleek fantastic car with the heavy discounts at the time 39K (MSRP) paid 30K New (2019). A sleeper and very comfortable.

Those little styling cues on the hood or the front quarter also denote how many cylinders the car has. This one has two on each side so its a 4 cylinder.
My wife loves hers. Hers is a 2017 with AWD. Might be putting a Trifecta tune on it for 320 hp.

Correction: I believe the Buick Grand National came with an ugly concrete gray interior; not a black interior as Bill stated.
These things are sold as Vauxhall Insignia's in the UK (Vauxhall is the British GM brand) and they sell by the bucket load. Aimed towards families and company car drivers.
Yeah, I think they're really overlooked and apparently you can pick up even the current Insignia quite cheaply. It's such a shame that good old saloons are being phased out, other than Mercedes, BMWs, Audis and Jags. Not even hatchbacks are safe. I mean, they've axed the Fiesta ffs!! I am dull enough to drive a 2008 Vectra but I love it. The heater blower doesn't have a mind of its own. It's as analogue a relatively modern car can get.

I love Buicks. My favorite was the Riviera. Have you seen any in Naples?

Regals were 2 doors. I have a Sport Touring. Still 259hp
I’m not dwarf short but short and that legroom in the backseat would cramp me horribly can’t even imagine a guy close to 6’ sitting comfortably. An impossibility
The good news is if you buy it you won't be riding in the back seat.

I OWNED TWO OF THESE ONE NON TURBO AND ONE TURBO BOTH 2011'S BUILT IN RUSSELHEIM GERMANY AS BUICK REGALS BUT ARE REALLY OPAL INSIGNIA'S OPAL BEING GM OWNED AT THE TIME. THE NON TURBO WAS THE ONLY ONES AVAILABLE IN DEC OF 2010. IT WAS SO UNDER POWERED I TRADED IT IN JULY WHEN THE TURBO;S CAME AVAILABLE. IT WAS AMONG ONE OF THE BEST GERMAN CARS I OWNED AND I OWNED A 75 914 2.0 LITER AND A 924 771/2 . Not wholly true. The Regal and old TourX, yes, but the Encore is a Daewoo & GM collaboration built in Korea and that car sells like hot cakes. The Envision isn’t European either and also a big seller.
