She got insane promo. They fabricated the story that she was “discovered” by Justin. Justin Bieber promoted her while he was at PEAK popularity. He was even in her music video for Melodies, and what happened? She flopped, didn’t even chart. It’s a business and if the return isn’t there, they’re going to lower their investment. Scooter Braun is not obligated to spend money on her and book her studio time and producers and promo etc if she is a flop?? How is her music doing now? Still a flop. And a plastic surgeon has even analysed her face and said her nose is real, but she does have lip fillers. She's a very lucky person to be born with a nose that suits her face completely. Madison Beer wants to say all of this about Scooter but lies about the fact she literally was willing to do anything to get a little bit of fame. She tells this story how she was “discovered” by Scooter when in actuality her mom is a friend of Scooter’s and was able to pull a few strings to get her signed. She’s not the best singer to begin with and that’s easy to see in her earlier music.

@@jonnicelashae658 Maybe I should've mentioned in my first comment that I think she has improved over time and that I actually do like some of her new music. However, in the beginning she was not a strong artist vocally and that is why she probably was having a hard time getting signed. If it wasn't for her connections she wouldn't be "discovered" or "picked up" by a record label just based on her own raw talent. That's all I meant. I don't say that with any hate. I just don't agree with how she spoke so poorly about someone who did give her a platform to begin with.

Ariana Grande, for instance, is a total beast vocal-wise, and while she may not be the most favorite artist in the history of the world, her ability to sing and her vocal power's not something you can deny. Madison, however, was not good when she was first signed to Scooter, but he did see the potential in her, and he was right. She's pretty decent now and her latest music is good, but let's not pretend and act like she's an amazing vocalist. She's not. She still deserves all this success because she works hard for it though.
@Kiko D that’s the things though , there are artists who are good when they just start off and then there are artists who need to be worked with to get to where they want to be. madison was the second one and scooter saw potential like u said , he just wasn’t willing to put in the time and have the patience to help madison get to the top which makes me sad. i think she has every right to say what she said bc instead of sticking with her , they dumped her and moved on. and for the connections part , i personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with having “connections” when ur a 16 year old girl with no label. bc of those connections she is where she is now and is able to be more independent and stronger. most people think that bc she’s had help means she doesn’t deserve what she has.
MixedHoney I don’t think either of us is saying that she does not deserve the success that she has achieved. Personally, I just don’t agree with how she talked so badly about Scooter because whether she likes it or not, he did give her somewhat of a platform to begin her career even if it didn’t necessarily get her to where she was hoping. Also, I don’t see a problem with having connections either because if any one was in her position they would seize the opportunity but then she should not fabricate her story of discovery.

I understand that it was a really difficult situation for her and that Scooter has shown he is not of good character, but the reality is that she has barely released any music. The other artists signed to scooter such as Ariana & Justin have hundreds of songs to their name and she has under 50 and has never topped the charts. The music industry is a harsh environment and if you are not producing what they want they have no obligation to keep you on. During 2016/17 no one even knew madison for her music because she had so little out. You can’t expect to continue to be signed with a TOP music but be focused on partying and pretty much being a socialite.
If she didn't release music is is probably because the label did not let her. And there can be many reasons why they just keep delaying her music.
How has he shown that he doesn't have good character? Literally everything he has done is a normal business decision that has already been done before him. Michael Jackson purchased the Beatles catalog, artist who don't chart (i.e make money) get dropped from labels every day. I'm failing to see the problem.

Let’s be real y’all Madison is not really successful. She has potential but I feel like she’s lazy and she doesn’t work that hard. Let’s be real she comes up with 2-3 songs per year while Ariana literally dropped two albums in 6 months. I’m not comparing in any way but you can tell who the hard worker is. I think she’s talented and she needs someone to push her to the edge and not give up on her.
Ariana also has a whole label and management team behind her. Madison is on her own. You can't really compare the two at all. Madison works so hard and has gotten herself to where she is WITHOUT a label. It's a completely different story. Madison is becoming more and more successful nowadays, and I can't wait for the day that her album drops.

Girl, everyone dropped you because you didn't work. You were basically more of a socialite and instagram model instead of actually doing music, not to mention the controversies you got involved in. Everything was handed to you and you blew it.
Why saying SHE blew it? Literally it was her label who fucked up everything. They thought they could force her to be this image of a perfect bubblegum pop star along the side of Justin, thinking it would sell, which is the last thing labels should do.
SINGERS ARE NOT CHARACTERS. Madison was treated as their new cash grab, being this young picture perfect singer controlled by the strings of her managment.
She wasn't allowed to write, produce or *direct* *her* *own* *craft* which is EXACTLY what an artist is, and they were calling her "artist on the rise" but forbidding her to do her own art? See how immoral it is? She didn't have time to create her own aesthetic, her own charisma and her own sound. Of course audiences loose interest in her, because she wasn't standing out. Her label thought representing her with bubblegum pop would sell, which turned out to fail because so many singers already had that sound.
Singers like Ariana and Khalid today are famous because they have been given creative control since the begining of their carrers. They make their craft. THAT'S AUTHENCITY. People teached them how to produce, direct and of course sing, which made them superstars with an actual stand-out personnality.
Madison had no vocal coach or songwriting teachings, and the fact that she was 12 is just more of a proof she was indeed the victim. She was a child for god's sake. Innocent, minor and easy to manipulate and control.
The fact that she's the first independent artist to be in the top 20 of US radios' most added/played songs (Home With You) proofs that she could have won so long ago, if people let her be...well, her. Simple as that.
Her label blew it, not her.

But scooter and Justin probably dropped her because her voice wasn’t fully there when she first started out and they didn’t know how she was going to do in the future.
