I certainly like our Cutco knives. Some great tips here. I used to cook for a living, now, it's just a delightful hobby. Having sharp knives is a big help.

Would you recommend I get the petite carver or the 8” santoku style carver. I’m now a sales rep and love my job selling this product. But I do not know if I would prefer the santoku style or not. I’m trying to complete my set, I just need a paring knife and one of the shorter carving knives. Sorry for kind of rambling, but which style do you prefer?

I think Cutco needs to improve their packaging and make it look like an Apple Product when opening the box. A great product deserves a great box!

Cutco is loved by most and, in my experience, I tend to recommend investing much more money on a high quality Japanese or German chef knife for professionals. Need to also learn how to correctly sharpen & maintain the blades too.
After 16 years, I still fully believe Cutco is the best value for your avg home owner due to its overall quality & buy once, service/replace for free forever guarantee.
We do have 5 specific Cutco knives that chefs seek out:
      1. The Cutco Cheese Knife - the Micro-DD edge streamlines this piece through any soft, stocky, or starchy foods making it one of our customers all time product favorites
      2. Slicer - a bread maker's favorite. Actually cuts tough & soft bread including angel food cake. Also great for shaving cabbage
      3. Spatula Spreader - cut, serve, & spread. Sandwich & avocado fan favorite.
      4. Turn&Serve - helpful articulate, durable, flexible, ultra thin cooking & serving square spatula
      5. Super Shears - one of Cutco's most popular products. Chef's use for spatchcocking chicken & duck, cutting herbs, tough to open packaging, and more

@@kitchenguyluke3559 that's surprising to hear. I was about to by the "Cutco Dream Kitchen" which is like 11k because from what I could tell Cutco was better than those German and Japanese brands. In particular I compared Wustov to Cutco especially since I was originally going to buy Wostov before I discovered Cutco. The sales rep and I had talked for hours about the quality and process cutco blades go through and from what I could tell Cutco was better in every way. I'd definitely appreciate more information.

@@tylerrassi4148 very cool. I like to use the analogy - we all drive cars but it doesn't mean we all drive exactly like professional race car drivers or need race cars to do something we do nearly everyday.
The Cutco Kitchen is a great value as a complete package and is what most Cutco clients work toward overtime anyway. I think you are smart to consider Cutco in the first place.
And lastly, I'd say it's ok to invest in the Cutco Kitchen AND splurge on a $300-$1000 other knife for fun, especially if it's a hobby/passion of yours

Why are you promoting an MLM company that employees young people and are taking advantage of them? These knives are over priced compared to chef quality knives. Your not even sharpening the knives, you are just replacing them because these knives are cheap.

"Hey, that's like, your opinion, Man!" - The Big Labowski. Thanks for your comment. I personally started as a college student with Cutco nearly 14 years ago, met my wife while working with Cutco, paid for college with Cutco, and now support my family of 5 with Cutco. My mom has loved her Cutco for over 35 years. There are other quality knives on the market as well. And selling Cutco is direct sales, not an MLM, no up or down line. I am an authorized distributor. Lots of knives and brands out there to choose from. It's ok if you don't particularly care for Cutco, we can still be friends

No, your company has tons of lawsuits that public accessed to fraud and not paying employees for there time. I used to work for them too 5 years ago. My beef ain't with you but if you truly work for them, why are they relying on young kids to sell overpriced knives? And how during COVID?
