I would like to stream my chess games live on my youtube and twitch. To bring a notebook to the venue seems somewhat of a hassle, so I thought of only working with a camera that can create a URL that my friend in another town can put into OBS as a source. Yes, there are cameras that can create a URL for a live stream. These cameras are often referred to as IP cameras, RTSP cameras, or smart cameras, and they typically have the capability to broadcast their video feed directly over the internet or a local network. The URL generated can be accessed by streaming platforms, video players, or software like OBS. Can the EMEET StreamCam One generate such a URL that can be accessed by OBS? Thank you in advance.
You can as it has a virtual camera option. So you can also use this in programs like OBS also. Just still need the software to start the virtual camera.
CTG do you know if the cameras will appear in obs/streamlabs? Do you have to use their proprietary software or will they just show up as available cameras to add to OBS?

Not to my knowledge but you can record on the camera or stream from your phone with their app or connect with cords to a laptop to obs
Can I use this to record my podcast thru stream yard? Or do I have to use the software exclusively to stream or record?

You can do a virtual camera to put them into OBS
Cameras are great. The app to use them is junk. You can't go live with them. You can't use them on public wifi
