Nice to see you back to Jinjer! A sour-sounding chord is termed "dissonant", as opposed to a chord in which the notes harmonize, which is termed "consonant". Tasteful use of dissonance is a Roman specialty! I recommend "Ape" Official Music Video for some Jinjer jazz, along with "Home Back" Official Music Video. (I know you already reacted to "Home Back" Live in LA, but the OMV makes a powerful contribution to the artistry and meaning of the song.)
They’ll often have backing tracks of vocals playing so you don’t lose the full effect. Nice to see Jinjer on the channel again 😊 They’re touring Oz in Feb if you didn’t already know 🤘🏻
Even after over 5 years of listening to Jinjer live performances on YT, I still have never heard a *harsh* vocal backing track, only clean, and only light, to provide some harmony.
I wrote a long, quite critical comment about the way most people listen to, or rather consume, music these days, and I was also critical of platforms like Spotify etc., and what happened? UA-cam deleted my comment on your channel... I've been a musician myself for decades and have been interested in the absolutely brilliant band Jinjer for years, even though I don't have much to do with metal, but Jinjer is also much more than a metal band...... which I think they proved once again with "Green Serpent"... Thank you for your very pleasant and authentic reaction and it would be nice to see and hear you again at a Jinjer reaction: maybe > Fasten your seatbelts > JINJER - The Prophecy (Official Video) Warm greetings from Germany
This is fast becoming one of my favorite Jinjer songs.
Shoutout to Australia! Gday knackers!
Amaizing song! 🤟🤟
