    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 роки тому +2

      BDN provide only basic features of fuel like specific gravity,water content,sulfur content.
      There should be a complete chemical analysis so you can trust the fuel.

      @Adventure-Story  5 років тому +2

      Hello dear friend the main purpose of this tank is to remove any air from the system also in case of black out this tank because is located higher that engines will give positive pressure to the line and to the pumps.Other purpose is for mixing fuels on change over so the procedure will be slowly change and there is slow change in viscosity and prevent pump burrel damage on engines.Thanks.

    Oh i have 2 final exams and i graduate, i`m worried that i only have 3 mounts on board and i know a lot of things in theory, but not in practice. Is that kind of a problem?I`m also worried that the company will make me quickly became an officer (3/e) , but i do not know if i will feel ready for the responsibility because things are pretty much , and i will hardly be faced with everything for some 6 months .Your videos they're really helping me right now. Do u have more diagrams ? How would u advise me, sir? :)

      Hi this is Adventure Story and this is my second Channel for Gaming -I am uploading a new video with limbo walkthrough.So i will answer from this account .Yes i will make more videos about diagrams.I believe you will not have any problem just take care of yourself and try to learn as much as possible ask ,show interest to your partners at job.And ready manuals and ask again.To adapt to work and to have more practice you need to take tools in your hand .This takes some time about 1 to 2 months .Then you will be in the stream like the water inside river you will follow the way .So don't worry i believe this is normal to have this questions as i also had questions about all this.

    Sir ,if catfins are more in fuel ,what changes we have to do with purification?

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 роки тому +2

      As we know now fuel have really increased amount of cat fines there is ways to fight it.
      Proper purification with minimum flow rate ,proper filtering equipment fine filters,drain from settling and service tanks,and use of additives.

      @@Adventure-Story sir ,can we run purifiers in parallel to fight against catfins

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 роки тому +2

      You can run on parallel or in series the most important is to see how efficiently your purifier reduce the catfins at the outlet.Let’s say cat enters 100ppm and at outlet there is 20ppm it is acceptable them from 20 ppm it will reduce to 5 through autofine filters.
      Most efficient purifier goes from 70 to 80 percent if everything work good.

    dear sir, why dont we stop fuel oil supply and circulation pumps during port stay when the engine is stopped and why flowmeter wont measure any reading yet the supply pump run during port stay?

      @mohammad-mo3gs 2 роки тому +1

      Please reply back

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 роки тому +1

      Hello fuel must be run in the lines due to keep fuel system piping hot enough to run fuel oil and keep fuel oil pumps heated so they will not get stuck.
      About flowmeter they ca write so m3 during port stay some of the fuel passing .
      When engine is in stop position all the fuel returns back from return pipe back some of fuel also going to pumps but bypassing flow meter from other line.

    • @mohammad-mo3gs
      @mohammad-mo3gs 2 роки тому +1

      @@Adventure-Story how does it bypass flow meter? We don't change anything over there. We just let as it is in Normal running condition. I'm confused here

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 роки тому

      @@mohammad-mo3gs some systems have a bypass line with a pressure regulator which opens at 0.7 bar here in this video we have little bit different system as you can see circulating pumps suction the fuel from return pipe but on the top as you can see there is regulator opening at 5bar so when engine stops most of the fuel goes back to tank and some of the fuel circulated back to engine.
      In the last flow meter you have small turning of flow meter.
      Other case is to have a problem with regulating valve then flowmeter turning like crazy because all the fuel passing from there,when the engine are in stop condition.
