Facts! I could not control how angry the live action version made me feel. I don’t know what they thought they were making but it wasn’t ‘Cowboy Bebop’.
Fantastic choices of music for this wonderful short. I love the timing of this short because I got to actually meet Steve Blum at a con this weekend and while the line to meet him was long I love he took his time to meet all his fans. Great person! Now I want to rewatch the show again!!!
I'm 20 and although I don't consider myself sentimental, a tear ran down my cheek while watching this video. I watched Bebop about 2 months ago and I'm so glad I did it at an informed age. The work itself seems boring at first, but gradually you get into the life of the characters, personally I watched 2 episodes per evening and it was more than enough, the feeling is like elite alcohol, which you will not drink all at once, small portions, tasting you learn the taste of life, reflection, experiences in the soul of the characters, and in the end bitterness. Incredibly pleasant bitterness. All this is complemented, in my opinion, by the best musical accompaniment among all the anime. Of similar quality I can remember only Berserk, but there is a completely different genre and budget. The music is incredible, blues perfectly conveys the main character's vibe, funny and calm scenes are accompanied by pleasant noise, and combinations of ethnic melodies and westerns in some places are simply masterpiece. I sincerely envy those who haven't watched this masterpiece yet. Good afternoon everyone, I hope everyone who reads this will find their happiness. See you, space cowboy...
Same. This is my favorite anime but as far as animated shows, the only thing I have above this one is ‘Batman: The Animated Series’. Both ‘Cowboy Bebop’ and BTAS are peak storytelling in an animated show in my opinion.
Time constraint and budget constraint is the biggest factor. Nowadays, for a studio to survive, anime production will take on several titles to animate at the same time thus having smaller budget to accomodate each and a shorter timeline to complete.

Most modern anime is just made to appeal to everyone and is less of art and more just meaningless action sequences with no substance, I'm not saying all of them, but most of them. Cowboy bebop is one of the few animes that I respect as a true masterpiece of art. Another one I respect is Evangelion for example. and idk death note is pretty good story wise, a lot of anime films are amazing as well.
