Leaves on the line, medical issue, points failure, train mechanical failure, who knows? There are many possible causes. Whatever it is, it's a tragedy for the family of the man who died.
@@footystar1GamingOfficialPoints failure wouldn't cause a crash, it would have to be an interlocking failure to do so, I imagine it was probably poor railhead conditions
Driver Sid was drunk! He camr back from Australia and is a well known alcoholic at Mach depot, the other fella that was driving from Shrewsbury liked a drink too, the btp found an empty bottle of whiskey in the cab..!
@@lolzlolz69 its not its point failure this train was stuck at the same place last week delayed 4 hours coming from aberstywyth didn't get to Birmingham to 2am suppose to be 10pm so
So very sorry for your loss
Rest in peace old man.!
Thanks for sharing
Could be the old enemy leaves on the line affecting brakes and sliding!
Pretty much guaranteed
unlikely since leaves need a wet railhead to become a serious problem and it doesnt look like it had been raining recently
@@Trainman10715 It's been raining VERY heavily in Wales just recently.
these are the same train models that were involved in the Sailsbury Incident
class 158s are pretty ubiquitous
So sorry rip❤
Rest in peace for your loss ❤
RIP 🧡🧡🧡
class 158
Padre Santo! 😔😔😔😔
😔
WTF?
Train drivers X 2 okay, (thank goodness), so how did one of the passengers died.
..and where's the second train?
There are two trains, each with two carriages, not shown here but the papers show the extent on the merging of the two rains
Are you really that thick?
I’d say two trains of 2 cars now one as they crashed
Two 2-carriage trains after a head on collision.
Class 158's Sprinters.
How the hell can 2 trains crash 😑? In 2024 its got to be human incompetence
Slippery rails
You know nothing 😡
Actually, I believe it was due to a points failure.
@@footystar1GamingOfficial how do you know this (even if it is guesswork)?

Points failure, I believe.
That’s awful, thanks for sharing.👍💯
@@footystar1GamingOfficial There has been nothing said about that so I don't know why you are making assumptions on what happened.

Their trade union did not want better safefty conditions they wanted pay rises they were selfish they took the money and said screw the passengers.

You do realise it’s the driver that is at the scene of collisions first right?
