Italy and Germany probably had the most professional looking UNIFORMS in WW2. Looking at Britain & it's Commonwealth, modern French, and US Uniforms it's really hard to believe those 2 nations were defeated, lol.

Well, since war isn’t a fashion contest… if it would be Italy would have won both world wars 😜🇮🇹

I'm not italian. Bad movie and also annoying. What really bothered me is the farcical representation of the Italians: what would this film want to show that the Italian army was made up of so many "parish choristers" enlisted by force? Who take sticks from the Greeks at the front, but then dance and sing with them as if it were a picnic among schoolchildren? I think that when dealing with a historical theme of this drama and historical importance, the least a screenwriter can do is to go and read a good history book, just to understand what he is talking about himself. We spread a pitiful veil on Cage, he is a bad actor and his character is ridiculous. The only positive notes are the beautiful Greek landscapes and the character of John Hurt, the only one to be nice and with a little thickness.

Cute scene, but : Fascist-Italy was horrible. Genocide in Lybia, f.e. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libyan_genocide#:~:text=During%20the%20Allied%20administration%20of,Italians%20between%201912%20and%201942.
