I agree that food in South Africa is cheaper than in Indonesia because I have proven it. I am Indonesian, and on Christmas 2013, I was in Nelspruit; foods in restaurants and agricultural products in supermarkets were much cheaper than in Indonesia.

That's about $2,500? Might I live 3 months of the Northern hemisphere winter and celebrate New Years outside the U.S. something to contemplating. Thus far I've traveled through the western hemisphere Latin America and the Caribbean. This covid19 situation has delayed my travels across the ocean. I DID however after loosing my job get a different job unrelated to what I was doing before. And pays slightly better. Granted I'm saving up. As I hope to do more travels before I'm 40. I'm 36 now. Never been married no kids. Just think 2025/2026 I'm thinking do I want to spend New Years elsewhere.. as my past travels were oftentimes done in the northern hemisphere summer months. Well currently is when I make my money. I live in Florida full-time but 1/2 the year I'm working up in Alaska. That's my primary job. Granted well despite a run down of my life in recent past.. I can say I'd still contemplate opting for cheap places in South Africa. However what you've described is in reach.. You've given me something to think about

So I have 2 questions #1 do they have places for as low as $10/ night like I had in Central and South America?? Am I correct in thinking they'll only be around the airport the bus. station and maybe a shopping center if you're lucky might still have 1 left?? I'm guessing that's the case also... AND I'll say I've witnessed only 3 people use the payphone in the past year and 2 of them were the Amish.. no surprise I guess.. However I am 36 I remember when long distance call from the house phone were $6/ hour. That's pretty much a dull point now.. As I just can't understand why you buy a phone pay the bill yet it doesn't work all over the world. Mine $60/ month. Works in the U.S. and Canada. I don't think my phone would even work in South Africa but if I did I would probably cost me like 25 cents/ minute. So that's like $15/ hour added to my bill.. IF it would even work in the 1st place. I'd hope before 2030 a phone from anywhere will work anywhere for 1 set price. $50 €50 R 800. Phones to work everywhere. Because honestly if they don't I might as well be calling from the house phone as I did as a kid from the standpoint extra money is being charged calling outside the local city. When I worked thier 1 was left by the security office. And the rest were made into supply closets. Ya open this up get cleaning supplies. Oh thier use to be a payphone here. Well now it's a closets to get supplies.. go figure.. So ya payphones are almost gone in the U.S. but a few are still around

Nice video guys. I'm from SA but living in the UK at the moment. It's still cheaper than the UK. I think cost of living has gone up throughout the globe. In the UK we are now paying 30% more on fuel compare to the same period last year. Not to mention food, gas, electricity prices which have gone through the roof over the recent months. If you are on the low income you are definitely screwed.

I think you spot on. Average comfortable living in SA is 30k pm for 2 or 3 people. We trying to get it down but then you compromise where you live and security

There is no nuclear facility in Turkey, very envionment friendly country. Most advanced places of Turkey are trachian side of the country with Beylikduzu, Esenyurt, Bahcesehir , Basaksehir, Avcilar districts of Istanbul nearby the Greece , just 250 kms to the greek customs, Corlu, Tekirdag, Silivri, Marmara Ereglisi, Gelibolu, İtalian Plage Seashore

I think why the cost of eating is higher in Bali than South Africa, because you are a resident of South Africa and when you are in Bali, you will definitely want to try various foods there ( this is about the number of variations of your food per month ), thank you for sharing the info with us 😊
Yes, Cape Town is totally safe. The local government invest a lot into the safety of tourists and residents in Cape Town. Johannesburg is starting to get a bit dangerous now because of the pandemic but it really really does depend on which areas you’re in.😊

I can also call people on the Facebook messenger. Which a couple of my European friends I do. I've directly called Portugal twice. Called him on his mother's house phone. That cost me 25 cents/ minute. But if I have no phone then I have no internet either. As so I can't make or receive calls of any kind. Think about this.. if you're standing next to me in the same room in the U.S. I call you.. it cost 25 cents a minute. ( Granted that's assuming your phone will even be able to except the call) if not still cost me 25 cents for your voice-mail to pick up. And we're standing next to each other in the same room..
