- Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel! It is Labor Day Weekend 2020 and I took my vstrom 650xt on a solo motocamping adventure to Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area in Kentucky/Tennessee. Took the back roads to get there and did some great off road riding within the recreation area. I made another rookie mistake and dumped my bike....Would have been really interesting if I was actually moving at the time...Tires started slipping when I came to a stop and I couldn't save it and went down. You're welcome! I am working on adding additional cameras to my equipment as well as a drone.. Can't wait to add them down the road.

If it has full time daylight running lights, then it will be sufficient that the lights are simply on. One does not need to use full beam as it causes extra dazzle, glare and distraction to oncoming drivers. Kind regards.
Hello. I do use the high beam on during daytime to give extra exposure since it will not affect the oncoming cars during that time.

Thank you for the props! Still takes me a while to edit these videos! These tires are good for gravel but can't believe they just slipped out from under me on that little bit of mud.... Already looking at Dunlop Trailmax Missions for my next set. Still looking though. Thanks for watching!
@@DCUngelled yes.. Batalax Bridgestone maybe on there? They are like 90% road tire. Maybe spring for a 60% road 40% off road and just replace those a bit more often. 👍

Hello everyone.... I have no idea how my bike went down..I wasn't even basically moving... very strange..tires just slipped out and caught me off guard. I am running Shinko 705's... I am sure I am not the only one who has had a "stupid" drop, but maybe.... Let me know the stupidest drop you might have had. STILL LEARNING here. :) Having a blast with this Vstrom!!!!
I just came home from a day trip including some off roading. I almost dropped my bike (same as yours) completely out if nowhere. Im a big and strong guy (powerlifter), but damn 200kg + on one leg can suddenly become very heavy! No shame in dropping the bike, it happens to all of us :)
You going to the Vstrom rally in October in Stecoah NC ?
Didn't know about it...most likely not going to be able to make it at that time.
