As a Liverpool fan, I must admit that Man United are truly a legendary club . We are the two greatest clubs in England. City, Chelsea will never get anywhere near us.
Time will tell, I'm sure Liverpool fans in 1990 didn't think United would get their 20th title and overhaul Liverpool's record of 18, United only had 7 title wins 30 odd years ago....So It's perfectly feasible that City could in the next 20 years, we're not going anywhere anytime soon.
@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 It is perfectly feasible but also unlikely. You need a top 10 of all time manager for that. Pep is 5th or 6th so if he doesn't leave its possible but he's already said he will. So unless Jose has the revival of a lifetime at roma (which in all fairness he just might) and decides he wants pep's sloppy seconds then you're going to be LETTING GO of a top 10 manager and getting a possibly world class but not pep, Sir alex, Jose level coach. This is from a Liverpool fan so for me to say Any gaffer is better then klopp whether it's true or not is hard. So u know I'm not biased.
City and PSG obviously had ridiculously high investment. Initially that was fair enough, kind of broke traditions but it wasn't breaking any rules... Ever since the financial fair play rules came in, I don't believe at all that those two clubs generate enough income to pay for the squads they have. City failed a financial audit and then had it overturned, which seems odd to me, auditors are thorough and mistakes are few and far between! But the Prem has massive sponsorship deals and City have been going far in the CL for a number of years so they do generate some honest money. PSG though... there's no way there's enough interest and large enough sponsors in Ligue1 for that club to afford their squad by the club's means alone. I don't know about Liverpool but utd's American owners are completely the opposite type. They didn't purchase the club to play fantasy football with their fortune, they didn't even buy the club with their own money. Instead they took out an enormous mortgage and pay it back slowly as possible so their friends at the American banks get to milk Britain's largest club as much as possible with the interest payments. But the debt doesn't stop the Glazers paying themselves dividends, oh no. About £100m per year of utd's money goes over to America to give their elites a little more luxury money. The Glazers don't care about the football at all. They only permit the club to spend its own money on players if the share values are down in the stock market, and positive headlines are needed to redeem the situation somewhat. The £186m from the first week of Ronaldo shirt sales... most of that will go into their pockets.

Matt busby actually played for Liverpool and man city, and persuaded the late great bill shankly to leave I think Huddersfield town and manage Liverpool, brilliant interview on you tube with sir matt, it's in black and white about 9 mins long, very powerful when the interviewer talks about Munich, he went from I'm completely done with football, to maybe I'll go back to I'm definitely coming Back, and that's why we love this game..

I'm a lifelong Man united fan and I took the Anfield tour around 7 years ago and I was amazed by how much of a shithole it was, not having a go but the home dressing room was like a non league teams, the famous boot room and players lounge was like a local community centre with dirty false ceilings etc, the KOP was impressive looking at it empty, also the area around Anfield was like a 3rd world country, a dump inside and out.
Good vid. You can be a supporter of your Club, but be always respectfully against others. I am Hamburg SV supporter, but respect FC St. Pauli and Werder Bremen. One footballworld. No place for hate and force.
Nice tour, I visited old Trafford recently and sometimes it's cheap to watch game rather than going for a walking tour, the best way to watch Man United match in decent fare when going to non Premier league game, like a Europe league or EFL cup. you can find a ticket as low as 20 - 30 Pound for a match.
Have to agree with you Sam that as a fellow Liverpool fan the Man Utd Tour was fantastic ! I took my son (a United fan) in 2014 when he was 11 and we both loved it, but he lost all the pix he took on his i-pad !! :-( ... They have a whole team of tour hosts and when our one right at the start asked us all to name the teams we supported (apart from Man Utd!) not wanting to say Liverpool, I gave him "Billericay Town", my local team, expecting him to say "Who???" or just laugh out loud ... but he paused and said ... "I played there last week!" ... Turned out he had a band and did a gig there ! But they also recorded a special song for Man Utd and he'd also performed recently on the pitch pre-match singing it, he was a great guy and a genuine true United man, who clearly deviated from "the script" occasionally !!
You should have waited outside for him. Even if he was only 3 years old. Kids have to know right from wrong. He's going to grow up thinking its OK to mix your allegiance like this.
Fair play mate nice to see opposing club fan able to enjoy the tour and all the history at Old Trafford, you forgot to mention how united were the first British club to win the European Cup ahem 😉👍

Hull city is my home club lots of facts and entertaining information had some really good players other the years and lots of history behind the club would be great to see on this channel one time
It always amazed me that the biggest rivalry in English football would never had happened if Sir Matt Busby wasn't as ambitious as he was. People often forget that Matt Busby was Liverpool's captain prior to and during the WWII years. On his retirement, he felt that he had the tools to become Liverpool's manager, but the club insisted that he should sign on as an assistant of the new Manager the club had chosen stick with George Kay. However, he knew that he would only be suppressing his talents at Liverpool and so he took the courageous decision to go to a club that at the time, were a laughingstock in English football. And the rest is history as they say.. (Liverpool fan)
@@braindonor8753 You're right right brother.. George Kay was the manager at that time. It's probably because I knew that Joe Fagan was his assistant, and Joe was also with Shankly, I got the names mixed up. Thanks for the correction again brother.
It always amazes me that people don't understand that the rivalry isn't just about football. Manchester and Liverpool are Northern power houses which Manchester having built the ship canal took a lot of industry from Liverpool and the Albert docks. The Manchester Liverpool rivalry is far deeper than playing personnel.
@@ant9925 Absolutely, the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester even pre dates the ship canal, it goes back to the American civil war, the Manchester cotton mill workers supported the cotton embargo, despite the massive impact it had on themselves, so supported the Northern Union states, whereas the Liverpool dockers wanted the Confederate States to smash the cotton embargo, and supported the Southern Confederate States.
Such a shame that more Liverpool fans are not respectful like yourself. Still there's a first time for everything and I just liked a video posted by a Liverpool fan 😮 LUHG.
It's an amazing stadium, Have seen two Man Utd home games, an Olympic Football game back in 2012, one Super League Grand Final and a Rugby League World Cup Final in it too. You should try and do a vlog on May's Challenge Cup Final which is at Tottenham this year due to Wembley being unavailable and the rescheduled RLWC Final at Old Trafford in November so you can see what it's like watching a different sport in a football stadium
Top video, I've done the tour 3 times myself, and loved it. Fair play doing the tour as a Liverpool fan, I've tried to get my dad to take me but he flat out refuses and he is a Liverpool fan himself.

Some respect for the scouser, he did say here's old Trafford, but he didn't realise he was already in old Trafford which is an area of Greater Manchester
I don't hate any rival club, honestly if you support a club then naturally you're a football fan too so of course you appreciate the good football. Gerrard is one of my favorite midfielder though I'm a man utd fan. Of course you can't expect me to support rival clubs when playing against us.
I've just found your channel Sam, and spent almost four hours watching your videos!!!! I'm also a stadium fan, and I've done the opposite to yourself. I still have Sutton United to visit before I've been to all the English league grounds (and quite a few non league sides), and need just four to complete my Scottish ones. Keep up the good work Buddy!
I hugely resect this guys attitude throughout the United stadium tour. He was respectful throughout to the memory of the Munich Air Disaster and what the Manchester United Club has achieved. Compare this lad to scumbag Sky's Jamie Carragher who spat in a teen age girls face who was a United fan, he kept his £million quid job at Sky. Disgusting man ! This lad has got my vote !!!
I bumped into a young Liverpool fan (AND HIS MUM) at the #GlazersOut Protest before the liverpool match that eventually got postponed. He was open and honest with us all saying he wanted both our clubs owners out. Could have gone really badly for him but he got alot of respect from everyone. This also reminds me of the last time i went on the stadium tour, our tour guide told us "Old Trafford is the only stadium with 3 jail cells; one for home fans, one for away fans and one for scousers" HAHAHAHA

Thanks Josh! I really appreciate that, welcome to the channel. I upload around 4 or 5 sometimes 6 times a week so lots more new content coming up 😄👌
@@FootyAdventures I'll make sure to watch everyday 😁
@@Tenzzautomotiveofficial 🙌🙌
Matt busby actually played for Liverpool and man city, and persuaded the late great bill shankly to leave I think Huddersfield town and manage Liverpool, brilliant interview on you tube with sir matt, it's in black and white about 9 mins long, very powerful when the interviewer talks about Munich, he went from I'm completely done with football, to maybe I'll go back to I'm definitely coming Back, and that's why we love this game..
Proper football fan 👏
Another banging video sam 💥
Thanks Shane!!!
Will a wee tour of the Tottenham stadium be on the cards?
Looks a cracking stadium 🏟
@@shanevaughan1395 definitely shane, planning a trip to London before the end of 2021
Damn, I saw so much history and so many trophies!
Respect - well done.
Look at that trophy room 👌🏾
Southern bloke living in Scotland supporting Liverpool going to old Trafford for a tour.
Wow
I just came across your channel randomly, but as a lifelong Man Utd fan , fair play mate , great content in your video and it's nice to see rivalries out aside and being able to appreciate the success of one big club to another. I just subbed to your channel so I'll check out your other content.. 🙂
respect...from Man Utd fans
There's nothing wrong with the Old Trafford stadium that a bit if TLC won't cure. All it needs is the Upgrade of the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand & East & West quadrant to complete the original design & a Levelled Retractable New Roof + modern refurbishment of the rest of the stadium to warrant at least 90K capacity
Take Note: The stadium expansion MUST NOT exceed the rail track!

You should come back. The main stands alot better now
Good vid. You can be a supporter of your Club, but be always respectfully against others. I am Hamburg SV supporter, but respect FC St. Pauli and Werder Bremen. One footballworld. No place for hate and force.
Two goals from the goat on his return home 🐐❤️ #CR7
Great video and great idea . Thank you for sharing i'am a fan of English people i hope we meet soon
Greeting from Tunisia
5:09 I also smiled when I saw this
One of the greatest was once here too.❤️❤️❤️
Nice tour, I visited old Trafford recently and sometimes it's cheap to watch game rather than going for a walking tour, the best way to watch Man United match in decent fare when going to non Premier league game, like a Europe league or EFL cup. you can find a ticket as low as 20 - 30 Pound for a match.
They weren't the first British club, Celtic won it the season before United in 1967.😂
@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 I think you'll find that Celtic are Scottish not British!😂😂
@@puddleduck279 Are you being serious?😂....Then answer me this, why is there a dark blue saltire on our British flag!😂😂😂🇬🇧... There's no blue on an English, Welsh or Northern Irish flag.... Learn your history, and your flags.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 😉
@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 You go to Scotland and call them British and see how far you get! Very distinct difference and the Scottish were forced to join the English that's why they have their own parliament now they have no desire to be British, they also have their own football league they ain't part of the premiership as they are Scottish, you need learn your history I think and please feel free to go to celtic and tell them how British they are! 🤣🤣
@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 Also tell the irish celtic supporters how British they are too! 😁
Hull city is my home club lots of facts and entertaining information had some really good players other the years and lots of history behind the club would be great to see on this channel one time
I'm a fan of United and Anfield and old Trafford is my favourite
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Shankly didn't get the job until 1959 did he?
Thats after Munich..
Thank you from a Manchester United fan.
Such a shame that more Liverpool fans are not respectful like yourself. Still there's a first time for everything and I just liked a video posted by a Liverpool fan 😮 LUHG.
Mancs aren’t respectful as well
1:18 still remember pre man utd vs atalanta walking the munich tunnel and bumping into Gary Pallister
That's a great video, cheers and welcome to Old Trafford
Much appreciate thank you for watching!
I was there in 2006, loved the tour.
This such an amazing video !
- united fan
It's an amazing stadium, Have seen two Man Utd home games, an Olympic Football game back in 2012, one Super League Grand Final and a Rugby League World Cup Final in it too.
You should try and do a vlog on May's Challenge Cup Final which is at Tottenham this year due to Wembley being unavailable and the rescheduled RLWC Final at Old Trafford in November so you can see what it's like watching a different sport in a football stadium
Less of a stadium , more of a pilgrimage site!!!!!
Top video, I've done the tour 3 times myself, and loved it. Fair play doing the tour as a Liverpool fan, I've tried to get my dad to take me but he flat out refuses and he is a Liverpool fan himself.
Nice video & tour mate ! .. i`m a Carlisle / Liverpool fan & follow your vids ... The Munich disaster reminded me of reading that ex- Leeds & Arsenal keeper John Lukic`s mother was a surviving flight attendant on that flight .. while pregnant with John..
Another cracking video. Just gave you a vote in the content awards. Best of luck.
Legend thanks James!!
Decent mate! I did the tour in July just before the season started. The Tunnel wasn't open when I did it. Nice video mate 👍👍👍

Nice one SAM... 👏
Stumbled across the page and so glad I did..
Really glad to hear it mate, welcome to the channel. Lots more content coming soon!!!

Very nice tour video... very well edited
Thank you so much 🙂
Discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago and really loving your content!
Well I am a Arsenal fan but I also respect other Premier League teams that Arsenal have had football matches with
I literally went to the stadium on the same day as you! I never did the tour and had limited time but shame I didn’t see you
I've just found your channel Sam, and spent almost four hours watching your videos!!!! I'm also a stadium fan, and I've done the opposite to yourself. I've done an Anfield tour (under protest) with a Mate of mine! I have been thoroughly entertained by your channel, have subscribed, and will continue to immerse myself in it! I still have Sutton United to visit before I've been to all the English league grounds (and quite a few non league sides), and need just four to complete my Scottish ones. Keep up the good work Buddy!
Great video mate 👍
Banter aside
You done your team and your city proud 👍👍👍
Got my sub 👍
Thanks very much, appreciate the sub! Welcome to the channel, more coming soon :D
Mystique / romance about this club which no other clubs can match , love from India GGMU
I like going on tours of different football clubs even if I don’t support them
Yeah same there are a few stadium tours that I would like to do even though I don't support those teams
My favorite team' home stadium!
mate you are the best football vlogger hope you do a vlog on man utd vs liverpool
Thank you for this.
The most decorated club in England followed by Liverpool.Respect to them from a Chelsea fan
I bumped into a young Liverpool fan (AND HIS MUM) at the #GlazersOut Protest before the liverpool match that eventually got postponed. He was open and honest with us all saying he wanted both our clubs owners out. Could have gone really badly for him but he got alot of respect from everyone.
This also reminds me of the last time i went on the stadium tour, our tour guide told us
"Old Trafford is the only stadium with 3 jail cells; one for home fans, one for away fans and one for scousers" HAHAHAHA
You protested for no reason just to ruin our season you Manc Victim😂
Respect for making such a nice video of a rival team! Now get your ass out of OT before I call security!
Iv never been by myself before but it looks like very chilled and fun if u go on your own I guess
Great video mate. Iconic stadium. But need some upgrades?
its needed upgrades for a long time, capacity needs increasing but Bobby charlton stand is difficult to expand being so close to the railway line
