Mainstream radio has for some reason never given Robin his due imo..Brother has been putting out some amazing records for almost 20 years n most people only associate him with Blurred lines..he's put out some tracks over the years that is far and above better than alot of the artists we've been saturated with on mainstream the last 20 years..
That's cause he's done some crazy shett and people canceled him.
Cosign 100%. Not sure his Masked Singer appearance helps him to be known as a legit musical artist, and he continues to do his thang. Plus, everyone needs to eat.
He used toon r&b stations but other than BLURRED LINES I never heard his music. Pop radio don't play his genre
Unlike most hip hop Robin doesn't "evolve" to suit the current style. He's stayed true to his own way. I'd rather all hip hop artists keep doing what we fell in love with them for, but atleast I can listen to Robin and know what to expect.
Ive seen him twice live and he never disappoints , he is wayyy underrated and the public gave up on him to soon. He hasn't done anything and any other artist hasn't done .. we just hear the bad sh** about his life that is his business and his personal life. Hes an artist and a dam good one !
