Was playing Azorious Peeps lately, 2 days in a row getting destroyed. Decided to go back to mono black discard, will take into account your cards and also the new leyline because I keep getting people playing bloody Valgavoth or Atraxa, plus Peeps >.
Yeah, I wanted to suggest you trying leyline - even though they can bounce it, they can't play the reanimator gameplan at all before they hit the card, including hard casting Occulus (as it needs graveyard). Deck is extremely strong, I keep seeing it more and more played :)
here is my mono black reanimation deck.... basically all the targets when you double them have explosive pay offs and then of course terror eater bc eating teroor is good
@sloth rooting against you today sorry! Discard drives me crazy lol. Especially Thought Stalker Warlock. I can't tell you how many times Rakdos Lizards decks have used that to discard my sweeper and win the game.
Understandable, have a nice day :D Yeah, warlock is BRUTAL, and body of 2/2 is really solid. Reminds me of chupacabra card, one of my favourite removals (basically 4 mana removal with 2/2 body). I personally don't mind discard, my whole inner emotions are always still focused on mono reds😂❤🦥
I already hate Sheltered By Ghosts and dread seeing it for the next 3 years. I hope Wizards can see what a design mistake it is. If Divide By Zero was broken enough for a ban than Sheltered By Ghosts far exceeds what qualifies for one
I usually play my mono black with 16 discard cards, 24 lands and 20 removals. I cant win normally obviously, but this masterfully crafted deck is designed to drain their will to play (and live for that matter), so they scoop. Man I love my black deck, almost as much as I love my Leyline red deck.
