- The movie Parivar was produced in 1956 by the legendary figure in Indian Cinema Bimal Roy. The simplicity and beauty of the movie speaks for itself. In addition to being an attractive film for movie lovers, it was a great musical hit the credit of which again goes to a big name in the list of legendary composers of Indian films, Salil Chowdhury. Parivar is the story of an Indian joint family consisting of four brothers, their wives, and their respective children. Jairaj, Usha Kiran, Durga Khote played the central role in the movie as actors. Hemant Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar were the singers. The lyric writer of the film songs was yet another highy talented person Shailendra. The song Jaa Tose Nahi Bolu was one famous classical hits of the movie.Parivar.

I have ever been looking for an opportunity to sing it with someone who can do justice to this marvellously composed melody by Salil Chowdhury. I have eventually succeeded in coming across one such voice which is wonderful indeed.
