Yeah as a drawer am not good ig am ok and I can tell you that a circle and two // lines and a line to know the middle is all you need for the face don't hear the tutorials of 729291 lines and circles. For the hand don't make it too hard just a 2d box and add 4 fingers in form of two ovals and the 5th depending on the hand's pose. Don't complicate it and think many lines will help. Try to find your confort.
